New Flask Mechanic(Link Flasks)
Hi, tired of using all your fingers every 5 seconds to use all 5 flasks? I come to present my idea of linking the flasks as an option of the game and not as a new item in which to use our fusings.The idea is simple, we have the keys from 1 to 5 to use in the flasks, well the mechanics consist in being able to connect each key, for example connect the 1-2 but leave 3-4-5 free or connect 1-2-3-4-5 so that when pressing any of the 5 keys all the flasks are used at the same time as if it were a script but being a feature of the game and saving us the tedious task of using the 5 buttons every 4-5 seconds.
![]() This is an example of keys 1 and 2 connected with the rest disconnected, if we press key 1 or 2, both will be activated saving us pressing the 2, this would be more efficient for utility flasks logically. This seems like a good solution. It evens the playing field between those breaking the rules without getting caught and those hitting flasks manually. However it would necessarily need to come in combination to nerfs to certain flasks and certain flask nodes/ascendancies.

I think there should be some bigger, more fundamental change to flask system than just have linked pressing.
Even something to the sort of having single utility flask slot and you would stack the prefixes and suffixes through some means similar to "gem slots", - some could be unique - like you get Flask Modifier from Aztiri or Cortex, possibly some trade off - the more complicated flask you create, the lower duration you get or something. I represent only myself, my own thought and believes. I am individual, not a representative of the community.
I am not speaking on behalf of someone else and I don't get offended by things that have nothing to do with me. 3.13 was the golden age. |

Just implement the mechanic that Chinese client already have, it would be enough to solve all issues with flasks.

Guess some people would ask for nerf to drop after adding of Stash Tab Affinities feature, because it saves time from sorting loot, another used to be extremely tedious task. Just implement what Chinese client have, so everyone could use it (it's not a paid feature, so no pay to win). |

considering that GGG has explicitly stated multiple times that they are against multi-function single hit keys, this will never happen.
It's the reason why scripts are and have been grounds for bans since the beginning of this game. It's just something GGG isn't interested in having in their game. There will always be those that figure out work-arounds, but the risk is on the player. Whether or not I agree with their position is another point entirely... |

" They are against 3rd party software, because it could allow botting. This suggestion is limited in-game fuction and is already implemented in chinese client. Cast on Critical Strike does exists in the game. |

They weren't specifically only against 3rd party software: they were completely against using multiple potions with 1 click for years. I can't speak for how recently China's server got the potion script or whether it was specifically a tencent contribution and NOT a core GGG contribution.
Now that tencent is behind GGG that philosophy could change, but at least in the Global server that has always been GGG's answer to people begging for multi-potion use since 2012. Cast on Crit, and other cast effects are different. And even those have been nerfed from their original specs because GGG did NOT want multiple things happening with 1 click. But also Cast on Crit actually takes build planning to make it work, whereas potions are just always there and available. And again, just like with potions and 3rd party software people have found workarounds. Yes times/game have changed significantly since that initial philosophy and now with the sheer pack size and danger of endgame content, it becomes almost impossible to play without mashing the potion buttons as fast as possible anyway so maybe they will reconsider. But I'm just saying that this idea has come up periodically across the entire lifespan of the game and GGG has answered multiple times that it is against their philosophy of the game to have 1 click - use all potions, both in game and 3rd party.
