I can vouch that they're the owners of the account, been playing with them for years, and myself for for close to 7 years, and to have that all taken away with no real reason would be devastating, I've put 20,000+ hrs into the game close to $1000.00 over the years...

So I would really like to know what causes an account to be locked, and why ggg thinks no answer... Is appropriate.

And we both have some of each others stuff, so would be nice to get that sorted too.

well when you can't prove that you are the owner of your account, then that's the problem. And they did get answers from GGG just not the one they were looking for.

What ever items of yours they have, is now lost.

that is not fair since we have provided detailed information about the financial transactions of MTXs.
very detailed description of stash tabs to the level of which of them are public and are not; described how items sorted out within stashes; stash tabs order; even half crafted gears and their future planned mods; bench mods -which of them r locked and unlocked-; delve depth; delve mods levels, i.e. dark resistance and sulphite capacity etc...... to even which keys assigned to skills....

i honestly dont' know what more could be provided

furthermore, not only Credit Cards' numbers but full pictures, passport pictures, to confirm owner identity,

not only that, we have even asked for their address to come in person(travel from middle east to them) if that can help.. where they have refused us

you don't get it, do you , we are ready for anything they would ask for....

I do understand what you are saying but I only have your side of the story.
What is a BIG BIG red flag for me, is the reply you got from GGG about "damage done" and access to the account will not be restored.
So something is going on here and I have no way of knowing what that is or why your accounts were suddenly blocked.

Then only thing that is 100% sure, is that nothing will be done via this thread. If GGG now refuses to answer any e-mail from you + your brother, then that means that case is final and forced closed.

I don't see any other way out of this for you and your brother, then legal action either by the link I already gave you or more "direct means".
I want to know what "damage done" means... ggg please define.

Your servers had a HDD fail and you you lost peoples accounts, and "oh well" is the answer?
Ok I'm not sure I follow everything but I think I've got it sorted out.

1. If your brother is the owner of this POE account, then your brother needs to contact GGG. You should not be contacting GGG about another person's account, regardless if it is family or not.

2. "community" "guild members" "friends" - all that stuff is great, but it's not going to change the policy.

I would have your brother follow up with GGG, that is the only solution.

they have stopped responding, eventhough we only asked for re-triggering the verification process, and all of this is just to prove that we are(is the owner of the account) in the case of an imposter or identity theft.

They have stopped responding because they gave you their answer. They aren't going to change their minds.

it looks like you have invested so much time and money on your account as well, just imagine for a second, that all of that suddenly disappeared and on top of that, you didn't violate any rules.

it's unfair, cause they are claiming we(my brother is) are not the owner of the account, yet he is. so yeah it's unfair, and i promise you would feel the same if it had happened to you.

what kills me more, that we have asked them how do we prevent that from happening with a new account(given i found the courage to trust them again or to be loyal to such entity), they responded "you can't"........... it means it could happen to anyone.. no matter how much money you spend on MTXs, no matter how much time u spend playing, it all comes back to some1's subjective opinion. without justice or being fair,

believe it or not, now the account has been stolen, POE have returned the account to the wrong guy...WTF is wrong with GGG.
