Introduce something like trade-ban

No, I want my friends to be able to msg me

They could message you with autoreply without any problem.

No, that is very annoying. I can just do it like now, ignore people whispering with low offers, or asking about cheap stuff, while I do heist/delve/maps.

Real solution is add extra 10-20c to your trade offer if you want that item, so the seller will be more interested in trade and maybe he will quit his map/hesit to trade with you. This is what I'm doing and it works like a charm.

One solution to "seller is doing something and cannot respond" would be to temporarily add a person you just PMem to you social tab (max 1 pesron, most recent PM) so you can see, like for all your other friends, if he is in a lab, delve or heist, though it doesn't solve the problem of being in a map with timed league mechanics, unless the info gets expanded.

You can always type /whois and check where that player is.

OP, you still haven't addressed the core issue with a trade ban, which is that it is GUARANTEED to punish many players who didn't do anything wrong.

It's a terrible, terrible idea, full stop. There's really not any other way to say it, and I don't know why you're even trying to defend something you obviously haven't actually thought through very well.

I'll better take a perfect roll IF I have 10-20 free chaos in my stash.

If anyone buying low-roll item for 1c when tere are better rolls for higher price, there is a reason. No one would buy bad rolls when he can afford good rolls. And no one won't pay more for a bad item if he can't afford this more for a good item.

So you don't value sellers time at all, but demand him to value yours.

This means you never ever going to to this trade. THIS is the problem - you think that anything you are doing is more important, than
hundreds of people waiting for 20 "traders" to reply! You either reply that you in map/lab/anything and will trade after some time, so buyer will know that you will trade after 1/2/5/10 minutes or just remove the fucking item from sell tab and do not saying that you want to trade it while you realy don't.

GGG has commented on this. Essentially they said that just because a player puts something for sale doesn't mean s/he's under any obligation to sell at the listed price, nor any obligation to answer.

The problem with trade bans is that it is impossible to create a system that can't be gamed maliciously, nor doesn't risk banning people following the rules...

It's a complete no-go for GGG to enter that area... The cost in customer support would be prohibitive because people like you would spam them with unreasonable requests...

As a mostly a seller I don't sell anything under 5-10 chaos specially now where currency literally seems to be growing on trees if you follow the meta.. most of the uniques end up being vendor food just like jewels, rings, amulets if they don't sell in a short period..

Again you're being a bit too demanding but you're not the only buyer this game has and everyone has a different actitude as you can see.

The trade ban for me is called the ignore list both on the website as buyer myself and the ignore in game for me as seller. This is my suggestion to you OP.

Granted if I have people on ignore is because most likely you lowballed too much or you wasted my time or you're a scammer.

Returning to poe in 3.27: ATROCIOUS game performance, 5/10 league and I apprently missed the loot back in the last league. The more things change the more they stay the same..
