No chips in this pot... they can ban who ever they want to. They can let their friends get away with cheating. None of my business. They make a game I enjoy playing and will play until I stop enjoying it. All this online drama is just a game for people who like playing THAT game. I'll sit out.

same opinion.

the only thing that bothers me, is, that i'm prevented from using the latest shit when it comes to ingame convenience and information gathering when i don't wanna lose my account.

as a supporter i have a serious disadvantage cause i'm the only guy they can punish by taking away those signs of support.

i think that's unfair and they haven't really thought about that.

They don't instantly ban bots when they detect them. they do them in bulk to reduce the chance of providing information on what got them banned, thus nothing will change

It would be interesting to see a ban wave that selected bots at random leaving some unscathed, and let the bot scripters and farms try to wrap their brains around what the algorithm is.

Anyone consider how things will look in PoE 2? Will we see a full crafting, meaningful loot drop, account bound currency style of game? No need for trading, no ability to RMT.

Combine that with a complete rework of the flask system to have five slots for perma-buffs so I don't need to be Chopin on my keyboard and suddenly the majority of macro issues just disappear overnight.

You know, seems whole banning process is wrong here. It should be 3 step system:

1st. warning;
2nd. Temporary ban;
3rd. Permanent ban.

And here people instantly get permaban on first "mistake".

Edit:
Maybe this 3 step system should be applied to people who invested money in this game. Random bot accounts with no investment could get instantaneous perma-ban.

nah botting/RWTing of any kind should be an instant, permanent ban with no chance for appeals

otherwise
Player: bots up 5k exalts
GGG message: Hey guy you botted and we caught you don't do it again uwu
Player: still has 5k exalts

Anything that gives players an advantage should have their account up for ban. That includes all AHK scripts like trade macro. Cheaters begone!

Trying to understand if there’s any truth behind your statement. I was thinking perhaps an analogy to this would be, as the old saying goes...don’t bite the hand that feeds you. Who’s hand is feeding? Well we all are including streamers...but streamers also provide free advertising for the game so hmmmmmmmm....

Well. You're right, however this is quite weird practice to allow streamers to use something which isn't allowed to other players.

Because, when you see a streamer, you assuming that a streamer do not using anything which is considered a cheat. Can you imagine a streamer openly using auto aim in some online PvP game? The game company would at the very least issue a private warning to stop that, if the ban is too much because said streamer is too popular.

So if GGG thinks that some tools are not allowed, they should start to send private warnings to streamers and tell them to stop using/advertise those tools. Otherwise people would use those tools, get banned/locked, and then start to rightfully think that those actions were unjustified, because streamers using the same just fine.

you don' get a "permaban".

they just take away your micotransactions and items for the current league (most players never play standard).

you're free to open another account and continue playing next league

lol...big brain here

try it, buy overwatch and insult people as harsh as you can as often as you can

someday youll receive a message
"due to blah your account is permanently banned blah"

according to you they should rephrase it a bit to:
"due to blah your account got locked. for ever, but its not a perma ban. b-baka, i-its not like i want to play with you!!!"
I have said this on reddit a couple days ago. I couldnt care less about rules. As long as it saves me from some tendonitis i will use macros, if they ban me, i will just tell people how unreasonable the company is.

Either improve the system or adapt your judgement to reality.
