thats mean you can use macro(mouse etc) if you are streamer !!!!
Anything that gives players an advantage should have their account up for ban. That includes all AHK scripts like trade macro. Cheaters begone!

" Sooo...People who use path of building should be banned? |

Unless you are in a race or involved in something competitive who cares about macros in PVE?
I have a friend who games with one hand and they use macros and other tools to compensate. RSI's are a real issue for gamers, rebinding your keys is a big help, is that cheating too? |

Break the rules, get caught, get Fckd.
This is not hard to follow. |

" Of course not, PoB is an external program and has no interaction with in-game operation. Think Mcfly. |

No chips in this pot... they can ban who ever they want to. They can let their friends get away with cheating. None of my business. They make a game I enjoy playing and will play until I stop enjoying it. All this online drama is just a game for people who like playing THAT game. I'll sit out.

There is a reason why you have TOS. If you brake them you deserve ban. If they want that you to use all the flask with 1 button, they would implemente it in the game.
They dont ban you for no reason over night. If your account is flagged, you are monitored for some time to confirm you are doing something wrong and you will get ban. In D3 you did get banned for far less. Streamers do have some flexibility because they give free advertising to the game. Capitalism, anyone?! No? But to get that privilege you have to be a streamer with decent viewer base. PS: i got temporally ban in D3 until 01.01.3000. for trying some exploit in solo game for 1 time. I knew that this could get me banned, but i did it anyway. It took blizzard less then 24hrs to ban me. And after that i dindnt mail them and cry that i was just trying something or what not, i accepted the ban. In TOS it clearly say that you cant use any 3rd party software that interact with the game in any way if its not allowed by GGG. |

" Just replace "random bot accounts with no investment" with "poor people" Do you see a problem here? Or "new players". The rules must apply equally to all. As for giving 3 warnings, think about how much havoc a single cheater could create on race day with any one of a wide variety of simple scripts. If the warnings were auto generated even once per hour, that gives our example cheater up to 2:59 hours of free reign without actually receiving a ban. Speed hacks would see the example cheater well past kitava hours before other racers got there. Or consider that 100 bots farming blaqueducts for 2 hours as they blithely ignore warnings can pump dozens if not hundreds of ex, divines, and raw tabulas directly into the economy before the hammer drops. And within 2-3 hours a new crop will be rolled up and ready to farm to take their places. Realistically the cycle of escalating warnings (in most online games that have them) falls once per day. Races are over, cheaters won. First weekend of league is past, thousands of ex are being laundered through RMT accounts as the sun rises Monday morning. " They don't instantly ban bots when they detect them. they do them in bulk to reduce the chance of providing information on what got them banned, thus nothing will change |

" i don't think they do ip address bans. a public ip address is the one your router gets from the provider, which might be static or dynamically assigned by the provider every time the router reconnects... you don't know how many people play behind that router... what they probably do is fingerprinting the computer or virtual machine to identify it. you get all parameters you can get from the current environment and build a hash value out of it. same way browsers work nowadays, they dont rely on cookies only but fingerprint your browser and all the components involved. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
