You know, seems whole banning process is wrong here. It should be 3 step system:

1st. warning;
2nd. Temporary ban;
3rd. Permanent ban.

And here people instantly get permaban on first "mistake".

Maybe this 3 step system should be applied to people who invested money in this game. Random bot accounts with no investment could get instantaneous perma-ban.

lots of people got banned for using poe overlay and then weeks later unbanned,but this is such a messed up system they have,they just automatically ban people and then after weeks of back and forth emailing they might get unbanned if they are lucky

Nah what they need to do is allow macros compensating for their RSI inducement loop and save the bans for things that actually deserve it.

"oh no a player is saving his wrist by pressing 12345 with what macro keyboards were designed for" is not the same as "my legion of bots farm 400ex a minute to sell via RMT"

Even worse with the 1 button logout being "legal" the whole mess is a giant pile of legislation and those exist in the real world to justify lawyers having a job, not because they serve a purpose.

Just apply some common sense if its macro'd for health reasons it should be legal and tbh they should be working on a solution so people don't think its necessary. Its a responsibility they consistently shirk while using playtime as a success metric.

Feels like they ban people, so that banned people would come to them and plea for unban. Like they enjoy all that pleading. This back and forth process is wasting time, which could be used somewhere else in a more productive way.

edit:
When i think about it, if i got banned, i would ask for explanation why it was done and would argue if it was a justified ban or not. But pleading for unban? No, wont give someone that pleasure.

So you have to create a new account because old one doesnt function anymore? That is an account and not IP ban. Technically account ban is still a ban.

How IP adresses are given? Based on your home adress? Or each new client gets its own unique identification? I mean, if i get IP banned, i move out, new person moves in and tries to play the game, but cant.
