I think it really says something about a person that points out bait is in fact bait, when they baited.
Painfully direct and cringey. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

" I suspect he mistakes all the responses for attention, when honestly it's sort of like the relationship between a springboard and the people diving into an apparently pee-contaminated pool. Oh how interesting. I get a quote notification, there's nothing, and the OP is in the naughty corner.
I wonder what happened. Silver lining: people can now respond without fear of bumping, for the time being. If that's what they wish. __ So this whole rattling off of so-called unique and inimitable encounters and moments in D2, I find myself agreeing but only because I know nostalgia and limited perspective are key factors. What might be poignant to one person could be old hat to another. Had I never played D2 and went straight to PoE (I believe there are a few), I reckon certain PoE encounters and moments would be as memorable and impactful for me as any from D2 (especially if I later went and played D2 with PoE already setting the standard). The Vaal Oversoul, Piety, Avaricence, Kitava, the Godless Three, Shakari, Izaro, The Nychthemeron Sisters...they're all iconic parts of the Exile's journey, especially when you factor in Kamil's definitive soundtrack. See, Matt Uelmen's music is excellent ambience but he didn't really do 'themes', whereas I can hear in my head with just a thought Innocence's theme, the battle beween Solaris and Lunaris (the culmination of the 'Sarn' theme), Shakari's music, The Labyrinth... If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.
