POE 3.12 HEIST league is BAD

Except maps give you nothing. If they don't have a league mechanic like legion you might get 1 fusing from a map and thats it. Basically a league like this forces you to play the league content because everything else is not close to rewarding enough.
This league mechanic making:

1. Players who like to use league mechanic early hit maps much later.

2. Players who want to hit maps asap need to completly IGNORE league mechanic before they get to maps.

Also there's thousands of bugs when you get stuck in doors, your crewmates don't open passage (I watched fcking Tibbs running backwards in place when he wanted to destroy something). Also, when you trigger alert it dosen't matter if your game crash, you loose everything you got.

This league mechanic is complete waste of time so I just quit before I even got to maps and waiting for december with hope I won't get dissapointed again.
What I really unlike in Heist is the way the game want ppl get used to SSF HC.
SSF as your party members cant see for example mines, go over them and die.
HC for obvious reasons: if you die in Heist, you loose everything and the heist is over, you even go negative because of coins used. You dont get a second chance, you don't have 7 portals. You have 1 life.

On the other hand the maps are super repetitive, there are like 4 type of maps and they ALL look the same with same enemy. This league is like playing Diablo 3.

well to be fair, in D3 it doesn’t cost anything to tp to anywhere, unlike poe a marker to the rogue hideout, how penny pinching.
The league meta is now to use LEGACY cloaks in league and run fractured blueprints. It's really, really, really bad and needs a full makeover from top to bottom. This league has been abandoned by GGG worse than Synthesis ever was.

What's worse is my RNG has never been better in any league I've ever played. I've used up two year's worth of luck in a bad league.

I absolutely LOVE how people can whine about heist when this league is literally what those same people have wanted for years;
Heist is literally mapping from level 1. If you complain about heist you need to simply leave path of exile at this point - its not the game for you and your presence will not be missed.

1. heist is *not* "literally mapping from level 1". it just isn't.
2. "If you complain about heist you need to simply leave path of exile at this point" <-- i read that as, "if you don't love PoE, then you can get the **** out!" yep. 'cept that PoE today is *not* the game many of us fell in love with way back in 2013 (or even earlier).

look, it's fine if you love heist. it's fine that your write about how you love heist league. but it's also fine to _not_ like heist. and it's fine to write about how you _don't_ love heist league.

This is rubbish. The Maps are progressive, and progress you to endgame.

Heists progress you nowhere. The vast majority of alternate quality gems are trash as are the majority of experimental bases and replica uniques.

Practically nothing matches up to influenced gear. Back in synthesis, fractured bases and double/triple synthesised items were competitive with top end, now they're Tier 2 at best bar some fringe cases.

The only thing I'm looking out for are fractured weapons with a good fractured mod worth crafting with as that's the only way they'll compete with an Elder or Warlord weapon base for a phys melee. Every piece of synthesis gear I've seen is literally a joke with the synthesis mod worse that the implicit it replaces.

My tabs are filled with Essences, and currency I don't need and would just disappear into a black hole of nothing if I tried to use to craft given the rng crapshoot with little to no deterministic crafting outside of fossils.

I literally have ten of every end of prophecy line that I'll never use as the only reason to do them is to the get the crafting bench options.

I enjoy the shower of divination cards .. but again all it really provides is a shower of currency, most of which is useless in SSF due to the rng crapshoot of crafting.

The only things worth using on bestiary are the flask, 6-link, beast portal, and magic imprint .. the rest is junk more or less other than some fringe scenarios to get low-level specific uniques.

So Heist is not an alternative end game, and is not a progressive alternative to mapping and is such a huge timesink taking you aay from the content that actually does allow you to progress to engame.

Is continuous tedium of:
Run through sparsely populated dungeon opening chests and waiting on idiot AI to open doors.
Pick up plentiful but non-progressive loot.
get the curio
Back track back to entrance dashing past packs that will destroy you, doing as little fighting as possible, otherwise you will die too often, losing all your loot, and never gaining any xp.

To say this game is not for me is against a ridiculous statement.

I've been playing this game since Invasion. The only league I stopped playing early was Blight, and this is likely going to be only the second league in 6-1/2 years I'll knock on the head early.

To be fair its not just the league, its also the constant nerfs to defences that screw over melee builds because GGG can't think of a better way to balance against fringe cases that exploit them.
