I wonder how much bloatware people have on their computers, as they always press "next, next, next, OK" without reading the different check boxes.

You have to mouse over all items in the trade window for a reason. If the other party changes the item them you have to mouse over it again before you can accept the trade.

It's really hard to scam people with more than 1 brain cells with visually identical items. (and replicas are not visually identical to the originals or so I've heard)

I was "scammed" once, I wanted to buy a specifically colored 6L unique, got a differently color one from the guy. That happened because I DIDN'T FUCKING LOOKED AT THE COLORS. It was MY FAULT because I didn't use my 1 brain cell. Luckily I could recolor it relatively easily but it taught me a valuable lesson. CHECK THE ITEM.

Trying to sell an item while saying it's another item is fraud, which is a type of scam.

Noone wants to spend hours on a website looking for legitimate sellers, ebay would be dead without it's fraud protection policy

Unlike Ebay, though, you actually have the option to check the item before buying it in PoE. Not only do you have the option, but you're FORCED to check the item.

Yes you can check the item, what's your point? How many failed trades will you personally need to experience for this to become a problem for you? Or do you love spending all day on poe trade?

Yeah, it wasn't exactly a subtle league name. GGG's collective tongue wasn't so much in their cheek as poking through it and drooling down their chin. It went from impressive to clever to just smug and condescending a while ago.

That's a completely false statement. The number of scammers I've encountered since Harbinger league is maybe 1. And all I play is trade league, and I trade a lot.
