where are all free gears?

Why? why can't players just be kind and give out free stuff to newbie/casual players at the end of season? ask yourself how often do you actually spent time in regular league? why not just spread the love and make newbies/casuals happy at some point during their PoE journey?

I don't give away free shit to beggars, because you're just wanting good items to sell in standard. I don't believe for one second that you want these items to practice builds with.

Hey I waited years for those gears. Every time they'd pop up in a trailer I'd be like CHRIS WHY ARENT THESE AT THE START OF THE GAME and then once they were, I skipped them and then I knew why haha oops.

Last thing I did before quitting, when I logged into Standard to check for a certain alt-art unique, was spot a newbie in Highgate asking some typically newbie question and offload a bunch of truly worthless shit at them. After the third tab's worth of what you lot would call vendor trash I knew they were for real because they were still thanking me. Felt good I guess but on the other hand, it just reminded me how poorly this game handles newcomers and how few resources there are for a more logical distribution of wealth -- if one man's trash is another man's treasure, it's nice to have the means to allow the former to become the latter without really going out of one's way. But oh well. Not that sort of game.

You jumped to conclusion too fast. I dont even play in standard because I like the atmosphere of new season with exciting players and robust economic. After I learned that so many players never care about standard yet they let their gears sit in the tabs like forever, There gotta be some places where players like to give away stuff to newbie/casual.

Standard trade is very dead btw, why would I want to waste my time on trading there? I only got so many time to actually enjoy the game itself. Even if what your saying is true I "beg" for free stuff to trade in standard, why would that bother you at all? If I am doing that it means I get enjoyment from your free stuff and you shall be happy too because you helped other people to be happy from virtually no inconvenience on your side since you dont even look at those gears after league ended.

Give free stuff when you finish with current league, no matter what others do with those gears, knowing that whoever got them will get so much more joy than you just keep them never-used in tabs, you will be also happy knowing that you made others happy.

Just say no to standard......and just say no to not earning your gear. You will just have to trust me on that - but I am right. This game is about incremental advances....Don't cheat yourself. Play the league in 6 days and kick some ass.

This league actually I was poor as .... Didn't really have time to play so I can get some currency only by the end of the league.

I wasted whatever I got on stupid Malthification meme builds that were supposed to "everything just melts away" , and at the end of the league someone just gave me like 5-6 ex worth of currency and items .

Not to mention someone gave me a pledge of hands six linked for my not six linked pledge of hands.

So people give stuff at the end of the league...Just not everyone..

I give stuff, for example yesterday I gave all my T1 to T4 seeds for like 10 chaos.

Considering 1xT4 seed is 35c at least.

yep. act1 lioneye's watch, someone will give you free stuff there, especially near the end of league. they'll just trade you quick and dump all those items in there. didn't gave me a chance to say I didn't need it. but said thanks to him nonetheless and proceed to give those to others. can't be sure but kept that 6-linked brass dome for myself. lol.
