" Excellent idea! After Plants and Zombies and Farmville PoE desperately needs a Pokemon league. Since quality player interaction is super important, obviously there's no need for an automated in-game matchmaking system, fights can be organized on the forums and on 3rd party websites. |

Uh nice idea.
Working on the fundament of rouge gearing we could get a "Pokemon" league where we gear a squad of NPC with Gems and stuff and send them fighting. The better their gear the further they get. Every time they finish a task we get the loot. NPC could die and we loose the gear. Or we would get a mission that we could access via atlas to "free" the NPC or Gear. Players would run maps and other content and collect and craft gear for their "Pokemon". Maybe they could get an small passive tree? Story wise we could just jump forward and become some kind of Baran/Warlord/Hunter each of them has their own army that spawns and molests the player and now the player start to form their own army to fight back. _____ What i really like to see is a league that works with modifies from Uniques. I'm really sick and tired of "unique" items that are overall worthless but have very interesting mechanics. I'm thinking of a new item that can hold one or multiple Mods of Uniques so we could craft our own merger-hybrid-unique. I think in Diablo there is a Dice/Qube/Box that serves this purpose. This but in PoE would maybe be a way to breath back life into some of the lesser(never) used Uniques. Balance wise i would just go for the harvest approach. Just do it and then don't let it go core or straight up delete the items when the league ends. I just want to have fun. |
