Having played the Beta, I can say that the endgame for this expansion is not as solo-player friendly. Higher floors of Torghast are ridiculous and require parties. These higher floors are how legendary gear is made, and as a solo-type player, it's just not for me.

Sounds like you're just bored of path of exile and frustrated with it so you're derailing onto a thread about Shadowlands when the thread title is about heist hype.

I'm stoked for heist. Don't care much for world of warcraft. Hopefully you find a game that you can stick to/be part of.

Well all these points are basically true exept last one, but all those made WOW success. Why?? Because every potato PC plays it well, my laptop handles 25 man raid pretty well with all addons that needed but POE is freezing and lagging when you play alone. What is the point of all that awsome graphic and effects when you need to turn them off to play game? Wow is meant to play together with friends, you can just jump inside game, invite friends and do what ever content you want. And about the last point, WOW has more content that any other MMO game on the market, well maybe Final fantasy is close to that im not sure because i havent played it but its also game with very long history. Im ready to pay any game when i see it has some quality, POE is far from that, im not going to pay for game, where end game is made for just 1prc of playerbase.
