How dead is Standard mode?

I don't wanna play this new league, i want to try to put these two chars i have to level 100 and complete other stuff of my interest using their powerful gear and skill trees. BUT, i will probably want to trade so, i need to know how dead is Standard for trading.

I have been playing standard all of Harvest. I think it is great. I get to re-tune my favorite old builds and make them viable again as well as do various tasks I neglected for them before. Since I have lots of breachstones, maps, clusters and other currency, I get to use it to have fun or to add another level to my guys. Standard is just fine.

Think he's referring specifically to trading. See, some people use trading instead of storage. They don't keep everything that they might use some day and rely on others to have stored it for them.

Standard is not dead its full of new players who follow all the streamer and teamers on boobtube with their cheap easy builds that leave most of all new players on the BEACH. The Rmt streamer with a mic and the only ones who have Mirrors are ruining this game. Now ask yourself after 5 years of playing and countless hours , how many Mirrors do you have ever even seen one lol lol demigod has somewhere in the thousands and so do all streamer teamer players with a never ending RMT slider. so to you New players just play this great game dont get caught up in the rmt youtube NUBS who slid their credit card and bought a mic to win all while hording the currency and not putting back into the drop table all while showing you cheap builds online all while they run their trip legacy items no one other then them have or could ever wish to afford but thats just it and where online gaming is going the More on the Credit Card the Greater of a WINNER YOU WILL BE

Very alive...expensive for some items niche items since there it a lot of ppl that have a ton of currency to spend.

Anyone who says standard trading isn't dead has never played leagues with actual active trading going on

Standard is dead
Maybe 5% of the trades done on leagues

And 99% are just noobs trying to buy 1-5c items which isn't even worth the time to look through my 500 remove only tabs to find.

Last time I... Eeeehm... 'Checked', death was absolute and not a scale.

Ok, enough bad jokes. Standard is more than enough "alive" to get your characters to level 100 by running only bought content.

Standard is a graveyard but at any given time there are 1000's of active players ALWAYS in standard. So trading and gearing isn't too bad.

I have a few friends that only play standard and they have no issues making new builds, trading etc.

To put it in perspective, there are a decent amount of 1C uniques in trade league that go fro 1 ex or more simple because no one else is trading them.
