Really Sick of Sirius Teleporting and oneshotting you from somewhere off screen.
" That's not what he's saying -- Off screen attacks aren't okay, ever, no matter what. That's not acceptable. That cannot ever be a design choice again. Sirus is so fucking bad Chris admitted on BaeClast there will be a new endgame in 3.13 or so. It was a colossal mistake, and frankly the entire team should feel very bad for creating Sirus in the first place. Part of the problem is the performance "jUsT wAtCh" hard to do with 10 FPS. It's almost unplayable, and after the visual changes in Harvest the arena is so dark coupled with the FPS drops it's almost unplayable. I went from killing him for guild members to not being able to do him anymore at all in this league, even with superior characters. Some people are being straight up cuckolded by bad game design / performance. I don't game, this game is NOT worth buying a gaming PC, and now GeForce Now barely even works anymore either. |

" 1. Sometimes the voice lines are not synched up, as of 3.10 that was MOST of the time for me. I would just flop over dead, then a beam would pass me and he would say DIE about 2-3 seconds after I died. This was brought up a LOT and happened to many people. It still happens to me, but not as often as in 3.10 2. The arena is a lagpit, and a testament to bad design. Shouldn't need a hardcore gaming rig for a f2p game dude. The suggested requirements can barely even get you past the title screen these days. GeForce Now struggles with POE now. It didn't at first, it was a godsend. Now it's all but trash. |

Watched that video and it helped a bit but yeah the circle of clones is still pure RNG and he still teleports off screen and oneshots you. Can't do shit about it. And the circle - always too busy to really get a look at anything it all looks the same.
Dialing it down doesn't even help - the one shot mechanics fuck me. They should at least let us stockpile fragments so we can sell them if they're not going to make it a fair fight. |

" 1) The circle of clones is not RNG. If you pay attention you can see who the real Sirus is and the timing is very precise. You actually have a large window in which he already locks a direction that you can use to dodge or simply run out of it. 2) If you let him go off-screen that means you are not doing the fight correctly. Stay on his heels, that's where it's the safest. If you stick close he will not be able to hurt you much at all during the 3rd phase. Actually, the last phase is the easiest of the three, because the rain of meteors is disabled. 3) Why do people think his name is Sirius? It's Sirus. Zana even says his name during dialogues. Often. How do you get it wrong? >_> The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

" What? only full random calculation out of thse is spell dodge, otherwise it is deterministic avoidance or dmg reduction layer. If you eat all 5 beams out of "Die Beam", you are doing it wrong Some basics like stun immunity i take as a must. If you are block capped, it is basically guaranteed you won't eat more than 2 out of 5 hits, and if you dmg reduction to all types (ele / chaos / phys) can't cope with that, your character is most likely not supposed to be there. btw, only oneshot mechanic of that fight is meteor if you keep standing in the center, and some builds can tank even that one. I represent only myself, my own thought and believes. I am individual, not a representative of the community.
I am not speaking on behalf of someone else and I don't get offended by things that have nothing to do with me. 3.13 was the golden age. |

I'm really glad to see that I'm not the only one having difficulties with that stupid fight. Honestly, it's only the last phase with the circle clones where it's getting really dumb. As already said, the arena becomes a dark lagfest where you can't see shit.
I have no problems with other (hard) bossfights like Uber Elder, his guardians, elderslayers, delve bosses. All of them seem fair (except maybe Redeemer for melee) and you are not getting cucked by terrible FPS. Sirus is a terrible fight with horribly implemented mechanics that clearly don't work as well as they were planned to. ::::::::▄▄▄▀▀▀▄▄███▄::::::::::::::

I honestly just hate bosses that do actions AFTER they are transitioning to a new phase
I got randomly one shot by Sirius yesterday, a full 3 seconds AFTER he became invulnerable. The fucker just kept firing lasers. The day before I was one shot when I ran into the green death explosions from a lich boss... AFTER the boss had transitioned into one of its side rooms. there was a fucking timer on the screen and everything. Or how about those little death explosion eggs from the blue seeds in harvest. yes i just LOVE getting killed while interacting with a menu in harvest. great design right there. Its shit like this that undermines the game's sense of fairness. It feels so artificial and forced. Its why no one gives a fuck about armor or evasion. The only thing that matters is having a hp pool large enough to survive when GGG decides to not follow their own internal game logic and shit on your day. Face tank the things that the devs clearly designed for you to dodge or FUCK YOU eat 10% exp penalties because reasons. As for off screens. Off screen attacks are, to be blunt, one of the core reasons why poe's game-play is so weak. Its why melee can never really hold a candle to ranged.
