They have been nothing but adjusting towards the casuals(me included).

What has changed is the players perception on what is needed to "succeed". What is needed to have "fun". And that has happened since they set themselves unrealistic goals through watching streams/youtubes/build guides.

Yep, I imagine that most newer players are introduced into the game from streams. Which ends up with silly expectation.

It doesn't help that all the large threads in the build section are all mostly in the 25-60 exa range.

It's the old haves vs. have-nots. There is a huge difference in power in PoE, and GGG has to design a game that suits both. They haven't. Since the transformation of the endgame to the current "Conquerors" thing, the end game has essentially left the have-nots out of it. You need skill and gear to beat it.

Skill develops through experience, and you're denied that experience because you don't have skill and gear. A good game design allows a player to build skills needed later with earlier encounters. PoE doesn't do that. It has way to much "gotcha" in each fight.

Players that overpower the game through trade don't see this problem. They develop skills because their gear grants them access to the encounters that they need to do. Without that gear you can't. You get to a progress wall and nothing you do, short of trade for better gear, is going to get you through it.

Pretty frustrating.

The "pop-up and die" mechanics of adds to the maps for each of the conquerors should prep you for the fight. They don't. They're just adds. There's no foreshadowing of the skills needed to fight the boss.

Baloney. No one is going to quit. The next league is going to probably be just as popular as Harvest, if not more.

i have to say, the poe community has gone insane recently. it's not like i don't appreciate some good shitposting, trolling or online drama, but holy crap... i would have never thought i'd ever say that, but it's become toxic af with posts like these. it's not constructive critisism, it's a rant.

instead of complaining how someone ruined something. think about how you can make things better for yourself or others. everyone's passive, ranting how everything sucks. are you part of the problem? it's easy to lash out on others, the streamers, neckbeards, nolifers, "the rich"/"1%". without these "streamers and nolifers", poe would have never gotten big enough that ggg could afford all these fancy leagues and exilecon. it's not a hipster underground indie game anymore, whatchagonnado?

if everything sucks and you're not willing to bring anything positive to the table yourself, then just quit. stop dragging yourself and everyone else down with negativity. you sound like someone who is just burnt out and bitter. get over it. or don't. i don't care.

I've been playing since open beta as well, and if i should thank one streamer it would be Kripp. He was the reason i found out about POE. From time to time when i'm on youtube i would look at a streamer's post, if i find it informative, then great i've learned something new then move on.

I also rant from time to time regarding drops and "RNG" but i just take a break and come back when i feel like it. For instance on this league, i've six linked my Inpulsa's with 16 fusings, but the next ones costed me between 700-1500 fusings.

Drops are getting better actually. I've been playing less now because in less than a week, i have done most of the "endgame" stuff like sirus 8,shaper,elder,uber elder,etc. So what is there left to do ? Run Conqueror's and do sirus again, collect at least 1000+ seeds of each color ? Do all challenges ?(not going to happen).

Bottomline, YOU play the game, don't let the game play YOU!

since when is harvest popular? most people have quit the league long ago and the ones still here like myself are just waiting for harvest to be over with already. there is a 100 page thread about how disliked harvest is
