Tencent causes PoE to be at serious risk for it's US players, GGG what's your take on this?

Heads up GGG!!! So I was JUST reading this article titled "Pompeo Urges Cutting Ties With Chinese Tech Companies, Apps" As I was reading I came across this in one of the first paragraphs and had to come here asap!!!
"Pompeo said Wednesday that “untrusted Chinese apps” like TikTok and WeChat pose “significant threats to the personal data of American citizens” and are potential tools for Chinese content and censorship. He also called for companies to refuse to make their apps available for phones made by Huawei Technologies Corp. and for ending the use of Chinese cloud providers such as Tencent Holding Ltd., Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. and Baidu Inc. for sensitive American data." Tencent won't be banned from the US they have a finger in like every single pie there is, its just politicians posturing and getting the begging bowl out for a bribe to shut them up.

Don't think this would apply... even with Tencent ownership. The development is independent of them. If you're concerned, you should contact GGG support and ask what information they're storing on you and have them delete any that you're concerned about.

" Yeah, they have shares (or complete ownership) in companies like Epic, Riot, Activition/Blizzard (small part), just to mention a few American ones, and heaps of 'large' EU companies too, like Funcom, Frontier etc. And that's just the gaming industry. I still think people vastly overrates their development influence, but that's another debate, sort of. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

i mean even questioning ggg's decicions in that matter is borderline close to getting you separated you from your mtx, i learned the hard way. for me, as a european, there can only be win i guess? age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
