I started school the year Rogue came out.

I played Rogue a lot 1988/89 on a UNIX computer worth over 100,000 Dollars/Euros.

Because this computer was used by a dozen employees I could play at night only.
I reached something like level 27-33, can't remember it exactly now.
Took a few hours to get deeper than level 20.

There weren't a lot games on this computer :-)

Better is a relative word. There were some ARPG games over the years that I liked.
