Im sorry, but every time i see a hashtag at a topic i could not care less, since it's mostly about topics from one person alone which tries to include as many as they can in a "we" speech.
Im so glad i play Eve online, where being offended means you get kicked from a alliance. Grow a thicker skin. By the way, everyone knows reddit is a trashcan where moderators ban and censor as they please. IF you get offended by the reddit discord...well might stay out of it.

Dismantle the Reddit Discord

Ok, if you fear so much being harassed, just don't go there. But you can't ask for everyone to shut up so no-one will ever badmouth you. The Reddit and Discord have been run by enthusiasts for years now, thousands hours of benevolent work. So -for you- they are worst of the internet? We should attack them, take control of their platform and impose your personal rules to everyone.

You're actually calling for a takeover on an independent community. What's next ? Sorry you were harassed but You're the aggressor there, wanting to ban an entire community with just an amalgam based of a five years-old unrelated event (and YOUR version of the fact btw).

Calling yourself a victim does not allow you to impose you rule to everyone. But if you really want to do it, you can build your own community. It takes more dedication than a mere post.

i grew up in a age where you needed to appear in big newspapers or tv to make other people learn of your existence, if you got that you were famous with all the pros and cons that would include.

tv people were called stars and often needed personal protection or refuges cause the world wasn't any better back then.

imagining that everybody could be a star with a worldwide audience seemed crazy. because the disadvantages outweighted the advantages.

seeing that every 3rd kid now tries to do that, enjoying the pros but claiming to not having known about the cons ... ist just naive?

First of all, thanks for sharing, but it has nothing to do with gaming, even if it happens in a gaming setting. There's a time and a place for it, but it isn't here, especially in Feedback and Suggestions.

Having said that though, as someone who has endured a tough childhood with a lot of difficult choices, losses, compromises and social struggles that left a severe emotional scar on me and made me (for better or worse) who I am today, I can say that if you wish to seek help (and I recommend that you do) then do so professionally. Read a few books written by people in similar situations and how they handled it, there's a wide range of really good and inspiring ones out there. It might provide you with much needed perspective.

In the end though, you're the one that has to live your life, nobody else can do that for you, nor should they. Find the strength within you to cope with whatever life throws at you. It's not as easy as just putting on a fake smile and it's not always going to be fair either, believe me I know. If you want it though, true change ripples from the inside out, not the other way around.

I normally don't really comment on these type of "trying to control the masses by using my dignity as the lie" type of thing, but this has gone on for too long. Yes, the world isn't fair, get used to it. There will always be kids or similar persons who will tell you to "go f yourself" "you suck" etc, you can't control persons. It's a freedom we have been given, it's not meant to be controlled only moderated.

It's a right given to you as a person, the ability to think. There are rules, there are consequences, but as this person tries to suggest, is to dismantle something "cancel" culture because they are mean to them. It is wrong, and it needs to stop. Don't try to compare other hidous crimes to being "bullied". Just because someone swears at you or disagrees with you doesn't mean you are being bullied, christ.

The gaming culture needs to change that's for sure, but you are talking about controlling the masses, not moderating them. Stop it please, the world doesn't need more chaos.
