Nice thanks :)

By the way, by registering do I automatically get drawn for the beta access?

You have a chance to be in the beta, wich we all hope for :)

Indeed. Of course the beta probably won't be until at least February. GGG still has three more classes and who knows how much else to reveal before then.

I'd say that's a safe bet.

I think closed beta will start february. Perhaps march.

All servers need some testing (be it stress-test or whatever). EU serves will definetely have some form of beta.

Also it's interesting to note that most of the forum members' location is Europe.

i am from europe too and i hope there will be european servers.

Europe here as well :P +1 for the european servers. :d
US should be ok.

I've played D2 and WC3 on US BN servers several years ago (my net conn was much worse then than now) and pings were around 100-150 (US east).
Playable without problems.
No skipping, blackwalls and so on.
Now for some east coast servers it's around 80
It's good even for some slower paced FPS.
Better US then some east asia (300-400 ms) or aussie/nz (prolly even worse) :>

I'm living in east europe, where broadband is still crappy compared to the rest of EU (except maybe for some southern countries).

It should be no pain to connect across the pond.
From discussion here it seems most players are not in the US. Either they are dev friends in NZ, or they are EU. I'm in the US, so I hope the early community isn't fractured by a continental split. Would be a bummer to miss out playing with you fine fellows.
