What is your first build for harvest?

Still waiting on the patchnotes, but if things work out the way i think they will:

Necromancer, 2h either staff or sword

Main Skill: Dom Blow
Aura: Herald of Purity probably supported to reserve most of my mana
Support: Arcane brand linked with desecrate, an offering and a curse or a second corpse generator(most likely bone offering, depending on how hard they nerf it) to keep up those sweet "consumed recently" buff and the debuffs.
Weapon: a slam skill supported by general's cry
And then Rallying cry and a movement skill somewhere in there.

The goal is to scale both minions and melee damage while benefitting both, to finally build the necromancer melee chick i always wanted to build.

This is going to fail hilariously or is going to work out, but i'll have a ton of fun trying.

Good idea ArtCrusade I think a Bleed Earthquake Gladiator could be a good league starter. Pretty new at POE and I've experimented a bit but have been following build guides to get the hang of the game. Going to generally follow this build guide https://www.poe-vault.com/guides/the-bleed-earthquake-gladiator-build-guide although I find playing around with PoB to be lots of fun and helpful.

Bleed EQ glad is great as a starter I can vouch for this one, very defensively well rounded and an easy playstyle with good room to upgrade into doing all the content if you want.

I experimented with DomBlow during Metamorph! :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1kl5LCUfW4&t=1s

Dom Blow is a legit good league start and really easy to scale, but we never had a reason to scale the actual melee damage of it until now. Going to be interesting and the ancestral call keystone is effectively freeing up another support which should help for both minion and melee damage.

Though i wish it wasnt a strike skill, it is still really awkward to play.

Ancestral Warchief Champion

ezpz levelling: Rare trash 2H to act 10 > Kondo's pride > Marohi Erqi > Disfavour > GG Crafted synthesised vaal axe.

Crafting options this league looking mighty spicy so it's gonna be faceroll city.

Besides, it's been a long time since I touched my top 10 labrunner build and I figure it could use a little spit and polish what with all the changes over the past few leagues.

I agree, yeah. :) And that Keystone will make it legit good actually. After patch notes arrive I'll update the build guide for Guardian. Picked the longneck over Necromancer, because you get the perma onslaught and physical damage buffs from it.

Haven't tested league start with it tho on SSF.. might work tho

I started with it in delirium and it is one of the most solid and easy to gear builds, as a guardian you just need to meelee your way to a3, as a necromancer you go SRS and infernal legion skellies until the library quest.

The reason i didn't pursue it further was:
a) Strike skills feel awkward without ancestral call, and you are effectively playing a 5 link with it.

b) There is literally no reason to scale melee damage, so why are you tying main damage (summoning) to your hits?

c) I used to manually trigger desecrate and bone offering on bosses because neither codt nor trigger skills feel very good. This lead to a very low synergy with necromancer and a really awkward playstyle.

It still smashed its way to yellow maps on a 4l, but it always felt like i was artificially handicapping myself.

So, my hope for this league are that rallying cry works of your weapon damage to give a boost to minions and yourself. That arcane brand can trigger offerings and corpse generation with the press of a button and work as well as CWC cyclone (if you have ever played necro with the corpse nodes and cwc desecrate/offering, it is borderline broken) and that general's cry has a great synergy with the constant corpse generation.

Either way, we'll see tomorrow if my dreams are going to die.
I was planning a dot build but i will have to choose Something else.
Maybe VD necro, Mine, ball Lightning, FP totem … still Don't know
Soulrend Trickster is probably still my safest bet for leveling but it would be super boring to level another one. Sooo I probably will go with something melee or spellslinger just to change it up.
The only skill they cannot nerf is "Skip Harvest", 80% chance I choose this one :)

Huge nerfs just kill the feeling to play to PoE :(
