Like, do you really think that being "badass" and being "mature" are somehow related? Sounds to me like you haven´t made it past puberty yet. Like, I am not trying to be offensive, but just because something is grimdark and contains demons and stuff it isn´t also mature. Rather that´s something 13 year old nerds read or watch and think they are oh so mature because it contains gore and disgusting stuff.

I mean, do you even know how badass gardening is? Hacking into caked earth full of hidden rocks that your tools bounce on and strain your joints and muscles, working physically all day in hot summer sun or heavy rain, ripping nasty thorny weeds out of the ground and tearing the skin off your hands, while hacking with that heavy-ass hoe into the earth. That´s some hardcore shit right there. And whats your reward for half a year of blood and sweat? A handfull of misshaped ugly dirty potatoes. But you are satisfied with it because you grew them YOURSELF. And you feed your family YOUSELF. Can´t get much more mature than that.

No...getting a job is not mature...its still in its puberty phase....getting a career is mature...or maybe making non-sissy non-cartoonish-childish leagues in a game that is far far far from anything similar to that....

Okay, appearantly you didn´t get it. I was actually not kidding in my last sentence. Demons and hell and some weird monsters that have no rhyme or reason are not mature. They are just grimdark for the sake of it. Metamorph, Delirium, Delve or the Temple of Atzoatle are not in any way more mature than growing rainbow-coloured monsters from plants so you can kill them for crafting recipes.

If Wraeclast was mature you would have to deal with corrupt politicians, racists and religious hypocrites. The vendors would be pricefixers and noone but a select few players who bought the 1000$ supporter pack would make it past Act 1 to prevent the economy from collapsing.

If u weren't sarcastic here....then u are completely parallel to what i mean by "MATURE" in a VIDEO GAME....if u expect to eat drink water and sleep and pay ur rent in a video game...then ur either trying to impersonate Zach Galafinakistenberg and are actually doing a bad job at it...or ur trolling.

Let's get this straight and settled

Legion, Synthesis, Delve, Metamorph, Temple, Syndicate, Delirium are like...i dunno....200 times more "MATURE" (in video game terms)....in comparison to Tower Defense and FarmVille.

Again...talking about the ideeas themselves...not the actual gameplay (maybe not completlye, but mostly, because it would have in it the new content also...so yeah) and/or outcome in currency wise or items. Ok ?

Planting flowers and constructing buildings its apps for phones for kids under 14...maybe even younger...

At least that's how i see it at 30 years.

So yeah...oh and where is that dog pet ? That serious natural fittin to the situation companion...where is it ? Probably no room from all those sissy anime nyan cat themes, skins and pets...and fairies and clowns ;)

From GGG point of view , trying to expand the player base , makes perfect sense. It's much easy to convince your partner , a regular Facebook games user to play POE , if they find something familiar in it.

This game has never been mature. Dark & gritty is just a theme, the game itself is quite easy once you understand its mechanics. To me, putting in samples for a monster to get some rewards is as immature as harvesting a garden of monsters. Whatever, dude. You want "mature" content go watch some x"youknowwhatpet" or read the Financial Times.

Agreed. Looks like this is the first time I ever skip 2 leagues in a row. Now we are getting a farmville league. Not interested in growing a garden in a what was supposed to be a dark and gritty ARPG. Devs keep adding stuff to the game and keeping it there just because they spent their time developing it. Leagues like Blight should ve never been implemented into the core. It does not suit the game in any way. It is also very poorly optimized.
All i really want in this game is very simple but I feel like it will never happen: just slaying monsters and positioning my character properly so I don't die to them. Unfortunately what I m getting is facetanking everything and dying to some random oneshots once a while. I feel like this game will never turn back from being a loot simulator.

I like farm league. I welcome our new Chinese overlords.
