Tried D3 again after awhile and I noticed something it does better than POE
The only thing I like better about D3 is that you can just jump right to end game.
I would love to skip the hours of leveling you have to do in PoE to get to maps. They could require you to beat the story with each class before unlocking the ability to skip with it and that would be fine. |

" LOL+1 So many exiles on the hamster wheel. And for what, virtual currency, a top spot on the ladder, bragging rights? Playing "speed racer" style every 3 months has been done to death for too many years now and PoE is past it's prime. Maybe PoE 2 will change this for a little while but it won't take long to master 6L gem skills and speed race again. Yaawwwnnnn!!!!! "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..." Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration. " Bro, what are you even talking about. PoE open beta starts friday June 19th. What are you trolling? So all you really end up having is playing the economy, and plowing maps. And if you want to get anywhere on your character, you are better off mowing monsters down like weeds and just collecting pennies of the ground as fast as possible than any meaningful item hunting.

Interesting thread....I played POE since Beta when I fell in love with the game and went through the countless changes along the way. I finally got bored with the game about 9 months ago and bailed out. POE to me became a way to fast/overly complicated game literally geared to the TOP 5% of players/streamers.
A friend had D3 on the switch and I tried it one day. Next thing I know I have it downloaded on the XBOX One X and it looks and plays great. Game is fun like POE used to be with good depth but not the RACE as fast as possible overly complicated everything explodes instantly gameplay. I will come back and check out POE 2 as the game still has a soft spot in my heart. I actually cant wait for the next season of D3 which for years I never thought I would say. |
