I died the 1000000000000000000000000 times to FPS spikes

Every other game company: lets improve the performance of the game

ggg: lets add more monster / graphic shit to the game so we cant provide a constant FPS rate

Do something about it you asshats.

FPS goes to 0 and 5+ seconds nothing happens on screen and when something happens again its "you died" message. [Removed by Support]

edit:
and died again ... [Removed by Support]

Edit2: I already regret giving you 60$ today.

so it dips for a fraction of a second a few times and you die...ever think that you should bail if you are in the thick of it when this happens
Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

He who controls the pants controls the galaxy. - Rick & Morty S3E1
"fraction of a seconds" LOL

Yh sure its my fault cause other games run smooth...
This stuff is easily 5seconds+. This is just a screenshot of the recent events...

I have everything on low settings. I have reduced everything i could. Still happens. Please tell me again that it is my fault because i dont own a 1000 core cpu and a graphic card with 1TB ram. LOL

Edit: for the record: i panic and run and press every flask i have ... still dead

Have you tried the ini edit to No Sound? This helped me a lot to reduce FPS drops.
As i read in another thread, not using dynamic resolution could help too.

If you're somewhat familiar with overclocking and have thermal headroom, you could try to oc CPU/RAM/GPU.
Especially RAM OC seems to help a lot.

Other than that, a SSD would also increase PoE Performance.
I'll try the no sound option, thanks for the suggestion.

I am running on a a M2 SSD (Samsung 970 EVO), Intel I5-7600, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 6GB. 16GB of RAM. This should be fine for PoE, no? Not a big fan of overclocking but i'll consider upgrading to more CPU cores / better graphic card in the future.

hi there,

switched to a good SSD and had no lag Spikes anymore bacause everything could load.

ps my specs were nice before it, but not my SSD.
A good SSD would fix ur Problem.

have an I7 7700/gtx1080/Samsung MZVLW SSD

Kind regards

I'm sitting on a decade old rig (i7 920@3.8GHz, 12GB 1333MHz DDR3 RAM, GTX970@1.4 GHz, 4x SSD) and with some tweaks i can play at relative stable 60FPS@2560x1440, with some dips here and there.
So i guess your System should be able to do PoE just fine.
I dunno i just died again. A map with abominations. I join, move, game freezes and dead. Next thing i see is the usual you died message and in the background 100 monsters grinning at me. I didnt even activate delirium. I hope some day developers can be made responsiole for the crap they delivier to mankind. I'm tired after 30+ years in the field and seeing the quality of code go downhill since forever. I work profesionally as sysadmin and was an advocade for open source and stuff at some point. But seeing the code quality going downhill since years because everyone who knows how to press start on a toaster thinks he/she can code now is just bullsh*t.

Edit: And died again. I join a map. Move. Game Freezes. Dead. I srsly like to know where anything is going wrong. This is just pure bullshitery now.

This sounds more like massive lag-spike or packetloss rather then a PC issue.

PoE is very sensible when it comes to latency (especially on lockstep Network), the needed bandwith is negligible, but that latency ... Oh boy i can feel the hiccup everytime a new song gets loaded by Soundcloud.

This is my personal gripe, as i cannot get DSL/Cable for my flat and have to rely on 4G so no QoS (fingers crossed 5G will fix this issue).
Just died again. Joined map, move, game freeze, dead. I got 40MBit up and 100MBit down on german telekom vdsl. Should be fine for PoE. But i'll switch from lockstep to predictive to test it now. I'm pretty close to uninstall PoE right now because 10% XP lose for crap that is not your fault is just retarted on so many levels.
