Ranged Marauder

Have you tested this?
How's you Mana management with this build? With no Int nodes, you barely have a Mana Pool as it is, so how do you keep it filled?
I would simply use Mana Leech for mana regen. Makes a huge difference. If you are wanting a mana pool though you can go this route:

You would sacrifice 3 life orbs for your mana pool and mana regen and go North from Iron Grip into the Witch mana tree.

I simply took off 3 of the Life orbs directly west of Iron Grip and was able to make it. Puts you at level 80.

Something to consider
I've redone my Ranged Marauder build.

After testing it further, You need more mana but here is the weakness I found in my build. There isn't enough Crit Chance Increase. Without Crit any range build is going to be gimped.

I have optimized pathing, mana, mana regen, and crit chance in this build.

http://tinyurl.com/87v8ndc

It has 16% increased mana pool, 100% increased mana regen, 74 total intellect, and here is the important part for ranged: It has 200% increased crit chance. That equates to a 100% crit chance with a "normal" 5% crit weapon in game.

Again keeping it limited to lvl 80.

Looking for further critiques or questions on my choices.

Thanks for the input

Hi spork, thanks for updating us on your build. Looks a lot more solid.
I'll add it to the original post along with your tips.

Mana issues certainly look solved. That's pretty cool.

Personally, not having the Piercing Shot node is a pretty saddening consequence of that build though.

It also looks like you're not getting a lot of survival nodes, except for Troll's Blood and Diamond Skin. How're you holding up in that regard? I'm also guessing most of your gear is Evasion gear.

What gems are you rolling with?

EDIT:
Also, why not drop 2 of those +4% mana nodes and get a couple of +30 stat nodes? Or maybe just further into Crit nodes. 8% of your entire Mana pool is passable, considering you'd have a decent regen + mana leech.

Thoughts?

I'm sorta curious as to why no one's tried using Fending with this yet. It's not that far out of the way.
I have wandered through insanity;
I have walked the spiral out.
Heard its twisted dreamed inanity
In a whisper, in a shout.
In the babbling cacophony
The refrains are all the same:
"[permutations of humanity]
are unworthy of the name!"
Was that node always there, or did it change with the new patch?

Regardless, it's a cool suggestion, assuming you don't want to go with Point Blank. It can synergize well with King of the Hill though, plenty of knockback that way.

This build doesn't show for me, what's up with the link? I've tried different browsers and it still won't show?
The nerfs will continue until morale improves.
Link must've been broken due to the patch or something.

Anyway, here's a different take on this build. As suggested by Skivverus.
Crit + Knockback

Assuming the knockback would be consistent, you could have decent survivability, I think.

EDIT:
The above build uses Blood Magic.

Adding a different one with mana regen instead:
Crit + Knockback v2

In both cases we don't really get any survival nodes. How viable would this be?

EDIT:
Slight adjustment to mana build.

Yea the link is down. I'll have to rebuild it. Sorry about that. I'll edit it into this post in a bit

So I tried to go with a knockback build. Was still around level 12 or something, walking around with less than 200hp because I didn't go into the Troll's Blood node line.
Got hit with 4 or 5 spells in about 1 or 2 seconds and died.

I don't think I'll be trying that again, lol.
