Will PoE support third party mods?

Pretty sure someone else has asked this... But it would be nice if there was going to be mods for this game. I'm sure a lot of you people remember Median and Eastern Sun and the likes. Personally I love the idea of letting players create new content/gameplay.
well no one knows 100% sure but my take on it would be no. although that's a great idea!

I don't believe there will be any mod support as the game requires you to be online to play.
This would be an epic fail!
Will there be 3rd party mods? Why not ask them if you can bot and hack...I mean shit. I doubt they will support it but I am sure that someone will get arround it for hacks and stuff I mean look @ D2....yet blizzard doesn't care anymore so they do nothing about it. I honestly hope they don't. I would like a game that required you to run in a group and be more social them just for items.

Having mods or having none?
Um by mods i dont mean HAX. I mean player-made content like this. http://modsbylaz.hugelaser.com/

maybe do some research next time before you start spouting nonsense.

And I knew what you meant, but if they accept 3rd party mods that means they would be accepting people to creat hacks and have to worry more about that nonesense. I say keep the game how it is. If you wantt o mod it make your own game. Leagues are kinda like mods anyways.
It's a 2 way street. By allowing mods, you are effectively allowing in bots and hackers as well.

Sure, there would be people who don't resort to either, and naturally I could forsee and great amount of wonderful mods hitting the game. At the same time, the amount of botting, duping, cheating and hacking will rise significantly as well. It's a 2 headed beast.
I would rather that mods were not supported, but as we all know down the road someone somewhere will make it work.

By not having it officially supported, there will be a noticeable decrease in the amount of potential bots, hacks, and dupes. Give it a few years and you'll get your mods.
