Why simulacrum is bad and you shouldn't run it

While I would normally agree with this in a number of other games, PoE is an unfortunate exception. Trade is a big factor in one's success unless you're a masochist who plays SSF. Your build isn't going to make a lot of progress if you don't trade for the items you need, and in order for you to do that, you need to ensure a decent currency/h income if you want to see it finished before the league ends.

Well you are talking to one such "masochist" who plays SSF both in SC and in HC. It's personal preference and it helps you get another perspective on the game which helps in a lot of cases.

In this particular instance OP is providing an opinion based on false information and I don't find that very compelling

Dangit this post will depress the price! Conspiracy maybe? 😉
We're all in this leaky boat together, people.

You can hit me up and buy this garbage for 90c, lol. I'll even keep you as a regular customer and dump my simulacrums to you for 5c below market so I wouldn't bother setting them up on a sale tab.

You people are pathetic if you think simulacrum is profitable. What kind of maps do you run? Still alch and go in 2020? Smh.

Why are you spreading false information? Simulacrun can drop gilded scarabs and T14-T16 maps. Today I got a Blighted T16 map from my Simulacrum. ROI shouldn't be the only reason why you play a game tbh

Yes, you're right. Apparently they did include gilded scarabs after all since the last time I ran simulacrums. I got a measly of two gilded scarabs in 2 simulacrums and one was tormented though. Not worth it tbh.

Also, voice seems to be hyper rare. I've ran 25 in total and I've seen 0. I've also seen 0 in my maps, so there's that.
OP is right about profits. The sad thing is that market makes Sims unprofitable same as Blighted maps in Blight league.

Sims were 70c and below, now they are 90c, and from the profit point of view they are bad now.
reminds me of legion where, without the right "build" it was hardly rewarding enough to run it :^)
bullshit game :D

It's almost as if playing an actually good build has upsides to it. :o

Good ROI is a sign of good design though. Bad ROI and bad risk versus reward is a sign of bad design.

GGG designs their game for the top 0.1% super speed clearing that they claim they're trying to slow down. Yet they continue to make content that's only reasonable for those people.

ROI has nothing at all to do with game design. Market balance is dependet on players and players alone. If you guysave such a high demand that the price explodes beyond an actual vakue, then that‘s a market problem.

Don‘t forget you also need it for a couple challenges. It has multiple selling points beyond ROI. Most people also don‘t factor in how good it is for XP and gem XP. ROI really is not an argument

Right?

I average 2 exalts PROFIT per Simulacrum. What OP apparently doesn't know (or maybe doesn't want other people to know?) is that the number of enemies you get per Simulacrum stage is not constant. The faster you kill enemies, the more "waves" you will get per stage, and the more bars of loot you will fill up.

If you hide in a corner and only kill the enemies that appear near you, you will get literally half as much rewards as if you're doing big clears.

I get 5+ rewards on all waves mate. I run simulacrums deathless and 60% delirious t17 double beyond maps. Don't talk to me about difficulty, lol.
