It makes no sense to me that GGG wants to brand PoE as so super hardcore to the point of biting the hand that feeds them. But just ramping up the damage numbers isn't the right way to make PoE hardcore, it just pisses off the 98% and results in "to hell with buying mtx if that's how GGG treats me. I quit this f'n shit until next league" and quite likely could lose players permanently.

Exactly my thoughts today as there is no way I'll back track every map to pickup loot. If you do you stop and pickup loot you are dead.

That's pretty impressive.

don't know what world you live on but reddit complain about EVERYTHING, nothing impressive about it.

OP is right, when reddit complains about shit it means something.

Like my dudes try to make a thread about shitty performance or whatever other disease this game has in normal or hype times, you gonna git downvoted and whiteknighted till you delete your account.

No, no, and please don't have this mindset! That depends on what the complaint intrinsically is, not who is complaining about it! Just because that cancer of a site complains about something is irrelevant

All the juicy POE reddit posts are on page 5 and beyond hehe.
This is by far the worst league I've played since Talisman when I started. I have never publicly complained about stuff like this...because...I know it's not really that useful, but this league just plain sucks in my opinion.

The cluster jewels are broken, making some jewel stacking builds significantly better than all other builds in the game. The monsters in the delirium feel about 7x as powerful as any other monster in the game. I get one shot by the blue delirium mobs with an armor melee build with 6k health in t11 maps. The progression system of "awakening bonus objectives" is total shit. This system basically only rewards the top 1% of players and leaves everyone else with barely any master missions. The weighting of organs for Metamorph monsters is screwed up still...I have 10 of every organ and zero eyes.

The whole playstyle of 'run through this map as fast as possible and rush the boss' is not the way I enjoy playing this game and I feel forced to do so in order to get any league rewards. I think GGG needs to look at the number of players and amount of time invested in this league with a grain of salt. COVID-19 is a significant factor in why this league has good numbers (as I heard Chris Wilson say in his interview with Ziz recently).

Since post power/speed creep PoE if players can't steamroll all content I always thought they would come to the forums or subReddit PoE to complain that they can't do that. Usually the PoE fanboys would rather post on Reddit as their comments are more likely to be seen by Chris and company.

But GGG is on a serious player smack down path this league and Delirium is designed to do that. I have always found it super strange that a game company operating on a free-to-play business model would go to such drastic lengths to make playing PoE "not fun" with so much one-shotting of builds with < 5000 hp. I know Chris has always thought that too many players pushed a build to 100 too fast every league and would keep doubling the 90 to 100 levels xp and monster damage each and every league until that stopped but damn it GGG, enough is enough already. There's a breaking point of no return for every player and you (GGG) have passed that point of no return for many.

Ah yeah everyone. The man with a 1 in his challenge rating this league (probably got past hillock), has said so many words of wisdom and reflection.

doesn't make what he said wrong, or what you said any more relevant or valid. just because 5 or so players can get a level 100 toon in a week or less isn't getting people to play how GGG wants us to- obviously speedrunning content due to game mechanics punishing those who play any different than wrote. so is it play fast and get to end game sooner than they'd like, or is it play slower and longer. because at the moment it's a schizophrenic mix of the two. no one's a winner. well except GGG.

Reddit is always complaining, what's the difference this league?
