Will there be free public stash in POE3? Or is the free to play players forgotten?

There are programs, such as Poe Acquisition, that we all relied on before premium tabs were a thing. Poe Acquisition if free, and far superior to premium tabs in several ways. First the downsides. - you have to alt-tab over to it to edit your sales. - well.....thats it The Upsides - Allows you to search all of your stash tabs from one spot. It will tell you if its on a character, or in a tab (unfortunately it cant see inside unique tabs atm, but if you had a unique tab, none of this would be an issue for you) - Allows you to quickly see how long an item has been listed for, and the price of everything listed in one screen. Has it been listed for 3 days....maybe change the price. - Allows you to quickly modify prices of multiple items rapidly. Listing your items is not behind a paywall at all. Premium tabs are, but programs like Poe Acquisition are free, and easy to use. There is a small setup process, but that also is easy to find a tutorial for. |

I'm not with GGG but I'm pretty sure that I can answer your two questions OP. No, there will not be free public stash tabs. No, the free to play players are not forgotten. They will just have to spend at least a dollar and 50 cents American to get a premium tab. Regards,

With all the new items you have to manage lately - I too believe that the 4 private tabs you get as a f2p player aren't really enough to do endgame anymore. Think harbinger, betrayal, blight, legion, now metamorph? It's way more to manage than when *you* started playing PoE. I can't imagine engaging with the current set of endgame content without a fully upgraded stash.
At the very least - stack sizes in the regular stash should be greatly increased, *and* one public tab included for free. Admittedly, it's pretty cheap to upgrade your stash. What, 40 USD? But the experience would be pretty terrible before you made that purchase. I have spent quite a lot of points; most of my purchases haven't been supporter packs. I woke up this morning and saw this thread and wondered which idiot made this thread, apparently it was me.
My target audience was to criticize the poe trading system and hope for improvement but somehow my thread title baits the free to play arguments from other threads here, well at least people are reading my thread. I cant reply to all of the comments, but I have read them and found them pretty accurate but I want to explain why I posted this thread.

My siblings left this game because they do not have access to the poe trade, making them not earning currency and are not buying good equips to make poe fun, they thought poe is hardcore like a dark souls game and quit. I told them to buy premium stashes, and they said mmorpg XXXX and XXXXX are free to play and you will never have to buy stashes and indeed they are correct but however they have not even realized how fun poe is with all those equips comboes, enchanted equips, vaal implicits, useful unique equips that cannot have crafted modifiers, these are stuffs completely unique and original ideas that cannot be found in other mmorpgs. Now imagine how many players have quit the game because they thought poe is a hardcore game. If only poe has some sort of time limited trial public stash or an only one equipment slot public stash just to let all these new players try out the market and poe trade, maybe they will stay and even buy 1 or 2 premium stash, but for now, premium stash is completely locked out of them yet GGG tells them it is free to play game so they thought they should not be buying anything and hence have a horrible game play experience. For all those pros saying they can complete the endgames without trading, well, not everyone is that hardcore, not everyone spends that much time on gaming. I have checked out free poe trading application called acquisition, again, it works, but look at the youtube guide on it, my siblings will just ignore me and play other games that actually have a normal trading system.
