Will there be free public stash in POE3? Or is the free to play players forgotten?

Why? Because the minority that plays ssf thinks that the game is either too easy, hates trading, wants bragging rights, likes pain, has too much time etc. Game is still balanced around trading and ggg even said so when they created ssf.

Exactly, SSF existing with a dedicated playerbase and even streamers proves you can easily go through this game without trading. OP just wants it all and he wants it now.

They do. Simple mathematics would tell you that they need at least $1 million each month. That is simple math. If you really go into detail of their budgets, I would think that numbers is a lot higher. And it's hard to earn money from players that are viewing portal/cosmetics as "useless" (even though they are, in the grand scheme of things).

I could see them award some stash tabs as rewards, if they introduced some kind of season pass. I think I would like that, actually. What's the "standard" for season passes these days? $10? Sell them for $10 and include them in the $60 packs, while offering some kind of rewards every 5 challenges. Yes... I think I would like that.

That said, the starting amount of stash tabs should probably be increased to at least 5/6, with at least 1 premium tab.

to name a few you would consider anything above the 100% necessary to play this game useless
so you see there is no point to buy mtx(or use the ones from challenge rewards) at all for some players but stash tabs is something we all need

but looking at the insane amount of random pickup currency that has been added to the game during the last few leagues and stuff like fragments not being stackable yet i agree that the number of starting stash tabs should be increased for sure

What build REQUIRES this to function? I've beaten Shaper/Elder/Uber Atziri/Sirus etc, everything but Uber Elder (I beat him with a friend, not solo) without anything that is exponentially expensive. Many streams have done the same in SSF. Many people do to this day.

Beating the campaign? When I say "Beat the GAME and all its content", I'm not referring to the campaign. Anyhow. As I've said three times now, it's all individual, based on how you play. You even say so yourself.

Min/maxing and getting "the most" out of your character is also the main part for me. Doing that to the best of your ability it what makes these games fun. It's the progression that drive these kind of games. But "getting the most out of" your character is also individual. Some measure themselves up against what's possible within the game and its affixes, and some measure themselves up against what's possible for them.

Four times: It's all individual, that's why it's wrong to say that "trading is necessary". It's totally OK to say "trading is necessary for ME". No one will hold that against you in a game balanced with trade in mind. I'm playing in trade league too.
