It's 2020 and I'm still hate the Labyrinth.

I know the Labyrinth gone so much tweak since it first release.
(Yes, I was there when you need to do full Uber Lab layout just to unlock your first ascendancy).

I can tolerate most part of it, but only one thing I can't stand is the TRAP.
Those traps in the Labyrinth killed me more than Izaro him self.

Doing puzzle while avoiding trap is just unfun.
If I want to play a game like this, I'll go play Super Mario Bros instead.

Replace those traps with tons of monsters and bosses with unique mechanic would be more suitable to an action-rpg game like PoE.

Just because you say something does not make it true.

No, traps suit the game very well ( and its genre too ), I understand that some dislike it because that is one of the few pieces of content that you cannot fully faceroll brainlessely ( unless building a character specially for it I guess ), but given the power that it grants, that seems pretty fair to me.

SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
I dont. I did but then i learned how to do it and then i stopped hating it.
Not sure about you but my current build have squishy armor of 2k by the time I do uber lab (2.5k as of now) and no regen whatsoever. I can still power through all the traps with flamedash, 1 quicksilver and 1 single non-crafted life flask (not even using flask charge generating pantheon).
I would definitely say Izaro killed me (1 time) more than trap (0 times) in this league.
You may regret this post if they ended up adding terrible mechanicalized monsters in the place of current traps. As far as I can tell they are quite fond of invincibility at the moment (looking at Katarina, Warlord Conqueror, Eradicator and Sirus).
the fact that lab is mandatory is awful
You are still hate the lab?
Thats quite the name my boy.

It's 2020 and I still like the lab.

The Lab still sucks and always will until they completely randomize it and balance the rewards around the randomization. It's just poorly designed from the ground, which makes it that much harder to fix. (This will not happen, by the way. GGG will consider PoE 2.0 to be its solution to the Lab mistake.)

I personally don't think that the traps add that much difficulty; they just seem gimmicky really. That said, they don't really add anything either. They just seem to be added as gimmicky annoyances. Which, again, isn't the greatest design.

Based on not only the Lab but on recent design decisions as well, I think it's obvious that GGG needs to spend far more time thinking about what does and doesn't comprise good game design. I mean seriously, they need to go all the way back to the theory of it, and then come out of that and design the game accordingly.
Wash your hands, Exile!
lab is easy,

no reason to delete it.

hopefully they add it as another option to farm things in poe 2.0
