Conqurors Of Choice, Reduce Dealth Penalty.
Take a look at how my char is geared, most casual players will never get to this level of itemisation, i die at least twice a day, even without the abyssus i use for boss kills.
This character is lvl 95 wearing very expensive gear with a layered defence utilising max block, 80 percent phys reduction, max chaos res, fully expanded god powers, immunity to bleed and poison. I STILL die to some t16 metamorphs and some random snake guy procs. |

A bit off-topic here, but it's a bit amusing that all the people that rebuke OP's argument are swimming in supporter badges.
Not judging, mind you. There's no wrong way to have fun, it's just funny how consistent of a pattern it is here. |

(remember those badges can be hidden too) on topic, re: reducing the death penalty GGG cant reduce it for HC players, but what they could do, that would REALLY help HC Leagues health is this: CORPSE LOOTING. For PoE I would suggest something like adding a 'tombstone' in your HO stash and when a HC char dies. The char becomes a ghost (so the name is still reserved and can be deleted later) -then you can put the tombstone down for your dead char and click on it and you can collect a few random items. It would encourage HC players to not quit the league having even a few pieces of gear salvaged. | |

"Show me one who is not playing a miner or summoner and using a log out script. Also, no one has gotten below 700 delve on hc, sc has hit 4,500, so they are not doing "all content". 14 people on hc ssf meta have sirus items, 12 summoners, 2 miners. Back in the day, you actually DID have to gitgud, and learn2play simply evolved into download PoB. You know, so you could build YOUR build correctly. These days it means go summoner or run cyclone. ...I honestly cannot actually wrap my head around this How do you add content, add more nodes to the tree, more skills to the games...how did all of this result in less overall options and player choice? When I first started playing this, if I was to sum up PoE with two words they would be: diversity and forest, game seemed to have endless possibilities that had people trying all kinds of stuff. Now those two words are: cyclone and summoner. |

They're influencing the map, just have them say their line like Shaper did. Or freeze the game, let them enter and leave, just like Shaper used to do flawlessly (at least for me).
