I've been here far longer to absorb the complete flippancy given to build guides that were ripped as not viable, to achievements that are minimized in specific leagues. Thank goodness for the rise of Mathil and the drop in the percentage of harcore players overall. Imo the entire culture of hardcore is toxic to the game. (Again just my opinion) Hell this entire Ziz event is a just a celebration of hardcore streamers with themselevs! It's actually laughable when you look at the leaderboards. Talk about a glamorization of .1% of the players. " I always repeat the same thing in threads. Its nonsense to have hardcore mode in game that isnt hardcore at all. There is nothing pro in having stats high enough to not die. Hardcore are the games where you die in 1 hit and you still manange to survive, while the difficulty and frequency of possible rips is increasing. Also second thing is, if you can play game straigh few hours and not die it cannot be hardcore, unless you are some insane player (though that would be small % of population for which no game would be beneficial for creation) |

"From what I understand, Ziz has a huge love for Hardcore and has been trying to push it forward because it has such a small community. There are racers that wouldn't mind, or would even prefer to just race on Softcore though. tie23he often played on Softcore too, proving that playing on Softcore doesn't make you a bad player. Hopefully despite Ziz pushing so hard to make Hardcore the main racing event, that Softcore races will become more acceptable in the future. |

obviously playing softcore doesn't make you a bad player, just as playing hardcore doesn't make you a good player - but i understand why races should be in HC. i would agree with that.
