Constant crashes to desktop with no error

still crashing a lot too. crash to desktop, no error. or game freezes, needs to be closed. even during campaign with new character. seems totally random.

On the suggestion of a friend, I tried something that I had not seen suggested anywhere. Forgive me if it has been but this actually seems to have fixed my issue.

Directly installing the client to windows and not using steam has me running stable at 9 hours + since install. Prior to this, I tried everything to solve the random CTD problem.

Linking your Steam account over via email to your PoE account is very easy as well.

Same problems here, crashes and blurry textures when entering zones (especially Heist ones), never happened before Ritual.

Totally unplayable for the moment... I'd like to play Path of Exile, not Crash of exile... :p

Had a few error-less crashes previous to the latest patch but only maybe once a day or so.
With this latest patch however, I crash a few minutes into any zone I play. The game just freezes for a second or two and then closes without any error.
I tried changing between vulkan and DX, tried different characters, different zones, rebooting and updating drivers, same problem.
I'm able to play without crashing if I turn off multi-threading but the game is almost unplayable for me without it so it's not really an option.

So many varying degree's of OS's, conditions when people notice, or think they noticed, it's all irrelevant. It's not any of our rigs or software.

Yeah, with all the different rigs getting crashes at this point I don’t really see why they need specific info anymore. The game is just unstable at its core right now. They need general awareness more than anything, so locking that other 13 page thread felt really shitty to me.

Same here to. The absolutely annoying thing is that the portals to the instance are gone afterwards. I have now tried two times to do the 10 Invite in New Vastir. During the fight, the game simply crashes, or only "unexpected disconnect". And then the portals are gone too.
