Constant crashes to desktop with no error

Pump, I have this issue too. Currently validating files via Steam. But after reading posts here I fear this might do nothing.

Also CTD every 5 minutes since update.

I posted this in another thread, so sharing here as well.
I had the CTD issue and would crash about once every hour, give or take, on Windows 10. Installing the game directly from the dev site and not through steam appears to have fixed it. I was able to let the game run for over 10 hours consecutively without a crash. Linking your steam account to PoE is super easy as well, support was quick to respond. Hope this helps |

" Was so hopeful I found issue last night..... I MUST use steam/proton on my machine, will try to install with websites .exe with wine, then import non-steam game and fetch poe's exe as a non steam game. Will post result. |

Deleting my PoE folder in documents (contains settings/filters and cache) seems to have fixed it. Although people should probably only delete the cache, I just wanted to reset it all because my folder was 2 years old without playing inbetween then and now.

Validating files through Steam did download 4 gb. Ran 3 maps without crash already.

I crash into desktop roughly after 5 minutes of being online. Settings do not matter. Steam or PoE client do not matter. No matter what I do (running maps or chilling in HO) I crash anyway. Cannot be anything wrong on my side since game was running fine before patch.
Hope this gets fixed soon. |
