Check out the results of crafting with catalysts in the Metamorph League

What's the point of this post though? We already knew exactly how catalysts work--it was part of the league announcement. This topic just confirms what we already knew for certain.

I guess the interesting questions here are:

1) can we be given a mod weighting table for re-rolling the items with quality

2) can you separate out the life and mana modifiers? Mana is a shit mod for most characters (obviously not all) and I don't want to just accidentally roll it

3) is this picture what happens when you use just one catalyst on the rare ring in the image, or 20 catalysts? Because originally it sounded like it'll take 20 for a rare item, but if it's actually always just 1 then that's a great deal.

Lol its literally just 20% added to all resistance modifications on the ring.

It's about as straightforward and power creepy as you can get.

Base mods seem 10x more important that this mechanic.

It would be nice if the catalysts actually added or replaced a mod on the ring, like a melee one removes any non melee mod and adds one in, same with caster, life, etc.

The catalysts could have done nothing at all so Im not complaining, just seems kinda meh.

did people already forgot that these catalysts will also give you a better chance to get the rolls you want?

quality to res mods also gives you a better chance to roll res mods.
and counts for alt spam/chaos spam, regal, exalting.

great potential.
especially in combination with fossils.
yet half the ppl saying "unimpressed"?

My problem with the post isn't that the effect itself is unimpressive though, it's that the post itself provided no new information at all.

100% agree.

A truly random set of rings crafted with each mod would've been very telling. As long as they were honest and didn't force a relevant mod to appear.

It literally isn't though, that's my point. This teaser is nothing. It is 100% void of new content. Everything contained in this teaser can be inferred very strictly from a combination of the original announcement, and math.

It did give me an idea on how much some of the modifiers can increase with a handy comparison, so that's something I suppose.
