@Chris increase death penalty to 25% and when at 0% next -25% penalty results in LEVEL LOSS !

You guys miss the point by a large margin (around distance from sun to earth).
The main problem here is not death penalty, but why some people are able to play and not die. Whats so hard (not even speaking about hardcore) about game where there is load of people that can easly play withoit dying only because they use some builds (stats)? POE is just about builds, there is nothing hardcore in the gameplay itself or something that would require player skill to survive. So why do you even create or care about hardcore mode if there is nothing hardcore requiered from the player in order to survive in the first place? Why you care about death penalty if there is nothing required from the player in order to bypass it? You just need to read a guide and then build according to it, thats all there is, thats brainless and skilless. Look at the streams from exilecon, your top notch players die at low level because their brute-stats are not playing for them this time. This is the skill level you compare yourself to? You want to boast to other people about something that isnt even achievement, and based on that, force punishment on others only because they dont want to play it your way (meta)? Sersiouly people what is wrong with you? Where is your selfrespect? There is no death penalty required, just a real hardcore content where if you die, you simply lose rewards. |

" Some people are just reasonable and try to understand, what other people think <3. Love you <3. GGG thank you for all the great things you are doing. You have combined every element of all other great Rpg's and joined them together as one Diamond, that will shine Forever.
This is coming straight from the heart <3 |

" The Hardcore community gets less and less, and if poe 2 hits like it was shown on Exilecon, what do you think will happen? right, even more hc players will stopp or play sc. again, U decide whiche mode u play so stop crying about it. Change to SC , stopp or eat it like a man. Last edited by Gondalen#3811 on Nov 19, 2019, 12:30:54 PM

" It is not about that, but we should have less achievements needed in Hardcore for same MTX for example. I think this would be spot on. GGG thank you for all the great things you are doing. You have combined every element of all other great Rpg's and joined them together as one Diamond, that will shine Forever.

I would also like a permanent death and complete loss of a character in hardcore upon death <3. SO no more flooding of currency in OP items to standard league.

It is not about that, but we should have less achievements needed in Hardcore for same MTX for example. I think this would be spot on. yeah but...why? most of those hc players talk like elitists who are the best of the best and sc are scrubbs. and now u beg ggg to make it easier to get MTX? WTF? again play SC. |

" Yeah i also think some middle ground between hardcore and softcore would be cool, a softharcore mode, something in the lines of: You start with 1 life, and receive an extra life every 150 "life points", you get 150 life points on act 5 kitava and an extra 150 life points on act 10 kitava, after that you receive 1/2/3 life points per boss kill in white/yellow/red maps respectively. This way dying is impactful, but you have some leeway with it in case it happens. To make it even spicier, the game never show you how many lives or life points you have or received. So the only way to know exactly would be counting maps you do. Tales of Maj Eyal (a really complex turn-based roguelike rpg) uses a system similar to the one i described and it`s pretty fun. And just to add a little about the logout macro, most of the people who play ToMe in the roguelike difficulty (1 life only) play it by savescumming when they die. And i believe this attitude happens in all hardcore games that exist. So i don`t think there is a good solution to logout macros other than public shaming those who do it lol. |

" You miss understood, we have higher risk chance to never reach certain challenges because of so many re rolls for example, then soft core player, who can die over and over and over at level 85-90, where most endgame is accessible at the same boss, if he wants. Once i complete my build at level 85 or 90 for the most part, i can afford constant death in the endgame boss fights, or anywhere else etc. GGG thank you for all the great things you are doing.
