@Chris increase death penalty to 25% and when at 0% next -25% penalty results in LEVEL LOSS !

With all the trolls recently how the game is to easy for them, i think it is time to actually do this for soft core scrubs :P.

Never got the appeal of hardcore in this game, 50% or greater of my deaths are random freezes that happen in certain areas or GGGs own server issues, losing a character to that sounds boring.

This rarely happens this days, unless you have bad ISP provider or living in area where there is bad network in general, or bad gateway. I haven't died to anything you mentioned in last 2 years. My every death in Hardcore is result, for not learning, or trying to explore boss mechanics, because i tried facetanking everything, so i never reached red maps or true endagme, except Atziri once in my whole 7 and half years with Path of Exile.

I think i reached red maps once, but i died fast in there, because my gear was not ready to counter red maps. :D:

Usually i didn't have time or patience and just tried to act like i am immortal, so it is my fault only, with the exception of random bursts and speed mods on mobs or some broken 1 shot old mechanics still in Path of Exile, but that is what it is at the current state of the game.

Yeah Intervention lag is still very much a thing. I always know I'm going to get an Intervention encounter because there will be a butt ton of lag as soon as I get in the map, and, when it's over, everything gets smoother almost instantly. Actually it's almost any time additional members teleport in. Last safehouse I did spawned 3 and froze for a good 5 seconds.

People play Hardcore for the extra challenge, let's not ruin the game for those that do not want the extra challenge. You want to get Challenges easier, then start doing them in Softcore, just don't be some elitist jerk and try to ruin the game for others.

Do you have any clue how *quickly* the game will dry up and die in non pay-2-win regions like the West?
If they implemented changes like these TenCent would own 100% of the company and it would be an entirely Chinkeeze game within weeks if not days.

The 10% penalty is annoying enough and makes people stop playing when they hit that skill, or gear, cap. Some uninstall. Others close their wallets.

But 25% and level loss?? I guess the OP must be one of those people who want pay2win or death for the game.

Those soft core scrubs pay the bill. There are examples of games that tried to stay "hardcore" you might want to check out one of those games. OH WAIT , you can't, they don't exist anymore. I wonder why that is.

If they would implant what you suggested, I'd be out of here in an heartbeat and most importantly, my wallet is gone as well.

As a soft core player i can co exist with people that like to play SSF / HC or Standard. I do not have any problems. Let people enjoy the content they want.

But WHY is IT that it is ALWAYS... ALWAYSSSSS HC players talking down and trying to dictate how others should play a game. Not only here, other games with different modes as well. You do you and let others do whatever they want to do.

Well you guys are right on some of the points, but i guess they will make game abit more challenging in 3.9 already. When PoE2 comes out it will be like good old days, but better more challenging, but not punishing.

I am sorry, but i inserted some troll post here and there, please dont take it to seriously.

You guys are pro, truly hardcore players dont act like a softcore players or even worse :) no one push you to play hardcore but if you really need those mtx you can get in a few days in softcore ;)
