(2-3-2019) Buff underused skills (3.23?!)+ selfcast, stop nerfing defense, build in threshold jewels (3.23?!), implement D3-style looting, add death log + MTX preview, actually rework flasks, stop balancing around the .01%, unnerf Harvest, ADD NEW WAYS TO LEVEL, finally implement Loot 2.0

" I see where you are coming from but it is also worth thinking about those who are willing to spend $1k - $2k+++ to attend and also had to deal with other non financials issues just to get there (work, family etc). I see equal arguements from both sides. I could easily complain about the cool mtx that was offered before I started playing and why can't GGG make them available again...but I totally understand the need to support those who supported GGG first. Maybe you can attend ExileCon next year. Plenty of more mtx to go! |

Guys, just let the attendees have something special to commemorate the event with and stop being jealous. Plenty of MTX and loot out there in the world. It's just a portal. They're streaming a large amount of the event for FREE remember. Get excited!

Your not at Exilecon, you dont get the MTX - that's hardly unusual, lots of conventions have benefits to attendees.
There are many things in this game like this - I have some MTX's that will never be released again, simply because of how long I have been playing. To a new player showing up in the game today, they will never have access to those MTXs - is that unfair? I think it's fine that a person that flew half way across the planet, to attend a convention, would have some exclusive benefits. Now if GGG wanted to be more inclusive, my suggestion would be a general MTX, that is only available during the convention, and immediately gone after, so those who were around during it, could in some way show support. Definitely not the devourer portal - or even a scaled down version, that would just rob the attendees of their exclusive portal, and make it feel less special. But something small, that was available for only the duration of the convention, like a pet, or a hat, for $5, that atleast shows you were around and playing the game during that time. That would be cool. |
