Why did everyone hate Synthesis?

I stopped playing it when I realized you couldn't rotate the memory pathway things, and that filled up rather quickly. Don't know if they ever changed that, didn't really care enough to find out but I do wish I bought some of the synthesis gear before it ended
Lame unsolved annoying bugs. Just like every league.
Synthesis was more or less okay for me, maybe because i entirely skipped the "main league mechanic" for first two months or so till most of the bugs were fixed; the last month, to the contrary, i somewhat enjoyed it.

I was one of the very few who liked the original setup where you could stack 20 buffs on a tile before completing it.

However, just as I was maxxing out my synthesis map they nerfed the crap out of an already disliked mechanics for the hell of it (max 5 buffs, only direct connected nodes).

That killed it for me and a lot of others, that major nerf halfway through the league.

Crafting was such an overly convoluted mess as well. Oils are done SOOO much better (exception of never finding a golden oil after multiple uber elder kills and near atlas completion but whatever).

i liked synthesis as a concept, at first it was wierd but fun, what killed me was the meta at that time (worb) and bugs, holy crap i hated that i clicked on a map and suddenly vanished... that flipped like hell, but still synthesis was 10 times better than current league.

Great concept but the implementation just wasn't there for me, it needed to be that you constructed a path, then the game generated the entire path for you and you ran from A-Z with a boss then repeat etc.

Instead it was just too piecemeal and the synthesized items were useless in an overwhelming majority of cases (and you needed third party shit to decipher it).

Just needed tweaking and refining but for me one of the worst league mechanics in terms of its actual result, one of the best on paper.

I didn't hate the league. Played a lot of hours. I just didn't love it. My opinion might not even be valid, as I love Blight. You know, the league that barely even functions? Even though everything works great for me. Done over 100 blighted maps, from T1 to T15 and everything function great.



Ultra high speed clear map builds is destroying this game, no need brain,no need strategy, e yes one shoot for eraser all monsters in screen and finish map in 5 seconds

1. What builds need deep thought and strategy if the clear speed wasnt meta?

2. GGG says their game performance is trash if enemies live longer than a few seconds.

themselves , GGG need drop this and use Unity or Unreal Engine 4
