Zombies and GGG Dev team
So, we now know 100% that not a single soul in the GGG Dev department plays zombie builds. This can be deduced because Zombies now have a max of 100% slam CD available to them. As any self respecting zombiemancer would know, this is not enough. So, why the hell were the violent dead jewels removed from all but standard.
Yes, I know that multistrike can be used to circumvent the slam CD for many cases. This makes the zombies clunky as all hell to clear with. So, the issue still stands, why was 200% slam CD removed for a 1 second reduction of the total slam cooldown. Someone at the offices should have known better, and I would very much so like to know the logic for the removal of the violent dead jewels. Rant over. spectres was nerfed way harder and to sustain spectres need alot life nodes and minion life gem...

To be fair people were abusing the fuck out of all the free durability they were getting between the 100% minion life and the implicit ilevel 84 minions .
Spectres , much like srs before them , were simply to easy to build with zero defensive investment. As for zombies, they reduced the base cool down from 5 to 4. From what i gather it is expected that you have to get a heavily over leveled gem to bridge the gap. That being said it is not exactly all that difficult to get a level 28 - 30 zombie rolling around. |

With the old necro + violent dead, the CD could go down to 1.3 seconds and possibly less, this was a quick calculation.
Even with a level 30 Zombie, the CD is still 1.85 seconds. This is a HUGE difference. |

New necromancers are smashing the content, zombies are grossly destroying everything with little to no investment, and people still find ways to complain ? Oo
The 3 top SSF HC Blight necromancers (#1, #4, #6 and the last one ripped , he was #3 ) ) were using zombies, no skeletons, no raging spirit, but zombies. I heard one of the streamer ( probably Raiz ) saying that zombie's dps was ridiculous on stream, so even if spectres are the main clearing skill, zombies still are very strong atm. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

" Yeah.. still using the 3-link zombie meatshield setup from act1 (with no minion nodes in the tree at all) and they usually stay alive and clear white maps quite nicely by themself (sure not fast). And thats on a totem build... Strong? yepp |
