Welp, the first weekend is over, and I don't want to say I told you so, but judging by what I saw and read, I told you so.

Crashes and Technical issues aside, which can happen in any league, the Blight Mechanic doesn't really jive with an arpg. Its cumbersome, leaving many to skip the entire encounter after just A FEW ZONES. This might be the quickest league exodus GGG has ever seen. It's a shitshow.

Oh, and dont even get me started on the Carnival MTX gambling boxes, because I will get perma-banned.

This is gonna be a painful 11 more weeks for everyone from solo's to guilds, to streamers, and GGG overall.

unless there's some good hotfixes this week, I'm gonna just try to rush to my goal of 24 and leave while I can.. so far the end game is just.. I don't know never seen such mess not even in the good old warcraft 3 TD custom maps.

Having played 400+ hours of Defense Grid 1+2 and a few days of Blight, I can safely say the thing Blight needs the most right now is signalled breaks between monster waves. A few moments to catch your breath and spend the 1000s of accumulated points. Otherwise it's just a hectic clusterf*ck where you don't even really notice what's made you fail the map.

It's a good thing your opinion doesn't speak for everyone.
Lots of people are enjoying this league.
If you don't like it, then play something else for 3 months. Why continue to come here and complain about something that you're not interested in playing?

People who skipped the encounters and jumped straight to blighted maps the first day are also skipping the step where you learn to manage the towers. They claim the interface is "clunky"... and it is. But without suggesting a fix, they blame it on the game. Take the time to learn the interface.

Because I am still interested in playing. I'm highly disappointed in the direction and league concept for 3.8

I dont believe I'm in the minority either, but let's see how the numbers play out.

I'm already looking forward to hearing about 3.9 becuase this league is a no go for me.
