Phew what's that smell?? Oh it's just 3.8

Well just watching Mathil for awhile convinced me that ain't nobody got time for the TD setup and waiting for the mobs.

Not to mention his chat is full of refugees from server crashes. Lel

Oof league confirmed.

You sound like you just don't like games if 20 seconds max is too long to wait for one.

I just watched the trailer, and I'm really confused. Everyone is saying this league will be slower paced. It's blatantly way faster gameplay than literally everything else there has been. You just don't run non-stop.
Need a new signature, cuz name change. I dunno though. I guess this seems fine. Yeah, this is good.

I'm also disappointed in 3.8. I can't play the way I used to anymore because Unearth doesn't work the same way with Raise Spectre anymore. -_-

Wouldn't it just work better now though? I don't know about Unearth changes if there were any, but it sounds like Raise Spectre will just work better in every way.

Since the spectre's level is no longer tied to Unearth, you can't just raise Unearth's level with supports and item bonuses but instead have to do it to Spectre.

In fact, Unearth's level doesn't even matter.

This means I have to link a level up gem to my Spectre thus having less support gems and since I want to put it in my weapon, a Queen's Escape (because my Zombies will have to go in that new top), that means I can't get the + level mod from the item.

So yeah, HUGE nerf and annoying af. I hate being forced to play a certain way.

That's been a critique I've had for the whole Gem/socket/link system since the start. It's convoluted, adds unnecessary layers of even more rng to loot and restricts your play style. Particularly for Summoners since we've almost always needed every support gem we can fit to make real minions (that is minions that are not srs) worthwhile.

Personally I do want this league to perform badly, if only so that GGG will take the lesson that the further they stray from the arpg mechanics that make PoE good, the worse it is for the health of the game.

I really do hope that some people enjoy the league, I dont wish ill on the community, but rather the overall takeaway to GGG is to get back to their "roots" (no pun intended)

Yeah well I hope the opposite. I'd rather GGG never stop experimenting, and didn't much care for Legion whatsoever (except for the Legion jewels - those I liked). And yeah, I liked Synthesis as a concept too, albeit even I found the execution left a lot to be desired. Oh, and Betrayal. Bite me.
They claim to have fixed the "frequent crashes on entering an area". My bet it was on the servers, not on their game.

No bugs that I've seen after the first couple acts... which is kinda scary.

The rewards for completing them are pretty much the rewards you would have gotten in Legion. Not much change there.

Fair opinion, but it seems to me that is a minority one.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but it appears that certain "themed" leagues do better than others, for reasons that are not even that hard to understand. (people want to kill monsters and loot gear)

Again GGG can do what they want, the numbers will speak for themselves.

This league is dogshot. Most boring ever
Can confirm, people bad at thought hate things that require it.

Not sure if calling Blight the "deep thought" league is accurate either...

Not deep thought, infinitely more than the leagues most people seem to like though.

I have a graphics/fps bug which renders game unplayable. Bug report forum full of roaches. Yet I am hopeful...
