What you're experiencing should be right, since you have +1 to all gems on the chest and only +2 to minion gems on the staff. The skin grants alot of offenses for now and you won't see much difference unless you change your body armour aswell.

Thanks for taking the time to respond Qlida. Should I upgrade my chest piece next and get Aspect of the Avian on a ring before changing my weapon to a 5L femur? I already have a lethal pride with 15% strength in the slot near Cruel Preparation at the top of tree and a efficient training jewel. Just don't want to waste currency on lateral upgrades that don't progress my character.

Honestly i think your setup is good until you reach atleast a 6L femurs aswell as a 5L saqawals with avian. Depending on your budget you could also go straight for the crafted weapon which should be a huge upgrade.

In order to run all the auras you need a minimum of 14% reduced mana res between gear and tree (will reserve 99% mana, so you will probably want 1-2 points more). There is no Enlightened.

You did push alot in 3.8 its kind of crazy. Also i rolled a pretty sweet stygian today which allows you to get another 1% of mana reduction. I honestly think stygian is super OP.

I very much think so. They’re cheap for Awakened gems and provide very nice utility. You’ll trigger the SO ES recovery ~17% more often. It’s completely defensive though. I would recommend Awakened Generosity first, but I see you aren’t even using a Banner, so that’s out the window.

Yeah the banner looks pretty tacky unless you go for the undead legion commander look thingy. Also if you can get purtiy of elements with the watchers eye setup you should feel it alot. If you can squeeze in a % increased armour during flask effect you'd also see alot more value from the VMS.

Thanks Qilda, thought about going +Chaos res Watcher's Eye... problem is that I would be overcapped on res, although not the worse problem to have as I heard the -elem res mods on maps increases as Awakener level goes up.

Right now I'm 92% mana reserved with Enlighten2:
-Pride
-Avian
-Flesh & Stone + Maim

Without maim i'm 89% mana reserved, going to take some work to squeeze in another aura.

It completely baffles me why they haven’t released an invisible banner MTX yet. People have been asking for since banners came out. Oh, and that belt of yours Qlida was sick.

You can use the invisible aura mtx on banners. I do it every time I make someone who uses them.

Thanks for the guide! invaluable in my min/max project so far, build theorizing is not my strongsuit.

recorded a lvl 8 awakener with my current setup with somewhere around 160ex investment, just a few more pieces needed to really reach full potential, particularly increased zombie count which i hope to hit 18+ with a new necklace and belt in the future, but i really wanted to max out their individual damage first and then go for some absolute GG crafts later on those to give me something to do for the next month of league.
