You can already be immortal with your deeds. Go out and do something great for humanity and you'll be remembered forever. Leaving a legacy is the best way to achieve immortality.

I think if you were immortal time would fly by even quicker than it does with a normal life span.It's like the less time you have the more you make of it.In fact I've played with the idea if someone was to be hypnotized into thinking they only had so many months to live they might get things done they'd of never got done in a life time.
