[3.8 Blight ] MINER BIGGEST NERF !!!
I think it is an interesting mechanic, especially with mines & traps now being more similar now that you can throw mines.
It adds another reason to choose traps over mines, or vice versa. I'd assume mines have lower mana cost but reserve mana, so they require less mana regen investment or need for a mana pot ,but isn't as good with Eldritch Battery. Whereas traps require more mana regen but lets you use EB and reserve all your mana. It's an interesting dynamic, but we'll need to wait and see the new supports and Saboteur ascendancy to see how it actually pans out |

Why do you think its a nerf? You dont know any numbers. It might be actually huge buff. They might buff mines base damage to the point it have same damage w/o any auras now as it had with 2x50% mana auras before + you dont have any mana regen problems because of this change.

" i dont think so, most powerful miner build are come from LL machanic , that is the reason why i called NerF,pathofexile in prevouisly we made character to low-life and low-mana then use clarity and pyromaniac ascendency node for mana sustainable while playing(map,boss,whatever) but 3.8 i think LL meta will gone. |

" Dude, every build will be the strongest on LL. The point is, if you actually can manage to do it on LL. If they will gut LL for miners but instead give us actual fun gameplay out of it instead that clunky shit we currently have, I will gladly take it. But I guess there are some people that care only about dmg. No matter how clunky the build is, if it deals most dmg, they will play it. |

pretty sure you can't use EB, or rather it won't be useful if you're a miner with this change.
if it reserves mana it'll always reserve mana. i doubt you can make it reserve energy shield instead. this isn't necessarily a bad thing. but look at the footage. dude is chucking out mines like crazy. thats pretty insane. it'll be interesting to see what differs between mines and traps now, because as it looks i don't see a reason to play traps. mines were always higher damage and "better" except the feeling. with the feeling fixed, theoretically, mines should just be straight up better especially if you didn't care to take EB be very interesting to see these skittering mine spider things too. says more trap/mine damage and sometimes will trigger a mine and reactivate it, or trigger multiple traps. well currently the trigger multiple traps thing is already automatic, so my guess is thats going to go....which again plays as a big negative against traps |

Pretty stupid thematically to throw mines as you would traps. You lay mines. Mines didn't need a re-work. They ceased to be clunky at all with the detonation change in 3.0. It's a real head scratcher.
