For blighted map, try swapping to Melee Splash instead of Multistrike for spiders.

Your gear looks very solid to me. Are you walking near stuff so your minions can explode it or just standing in middle? Also are you building freeze/temp chains and meteor towers? You should not really have issue with blights with this build.

Well we do not invest into minion survivability at all, so as long as the minion do not dies by itself, sure. Skeletons work really well with this build as alternate single target boost for example (and all the duration scaling this build is doing also benefits skeles, and they dont care about survivability as you can just resummon).

Hey trying to follow your guide, looks awesome!

One question, what would be an alternative to a 4 white socket Triad Grip, in hardcore in the current league they are pretty expensive and it will be some time before i could aquire them. Are they super mandatory now that you changed to occultist for scaling chaos damage?

They are around 16-17% more damage, so not mandatory, but big upgrade. 3white triad grip should work too as budget alternative.
