lol, he does have a valid point though. Time and time again this has happened to me.
I click on something and it does not a damn thing and eventually the timer runs out and someone else picks it up... It's happened so many times that I can rule out my connection being the problem.
This is on a 50mbit/20mbit FiOS connection... I'm just sticking to grouping for quick boss kills and soloing everything else, which is a shame because this game would be 10x more fun with a group.

In default i could find a non ninja, actually non ninja group. Wouldnt even steal GCP or uniques. In HC its almost impossible to find people who wouldnt even steal a god damn alch or fusing. I switched to hc because everyone said "Better community and market" So far everyone overprices sub par items, and everyone is an asshole. But now Default is unfun due to no thrill what so ever....

Thats a great idea. 10 levels solo farming merci ledge and city of sarn, no lie, 0 rares i could use, 1 gcp as currency, 0 quality gems, 0 uniques. I have blue gear still mind you. A little MF% goes a long way in this game. I would start by going to Nessa and picking up 2 gold rings and a gold necklass. Spend a a few alteration orbs until you get a little extra rarity or quantity then try and run areas you can easily clear. You can beat Hillock naked so start there. After you get some better gear with +life and +res you can move on to ledge runs.
Once you start getting better gear you can run Fellshire which is a good place for XP and loot. After you get into act 3 the docks are a good place to grind for maps and such.

So then you did exaggerate then. My point exactly. You are doing fine. You cant find the best items to replace 6L and 5L items every 10 minutes. I have played 100's of hours and only gotten 2 unique drops and 2 exalt drops. It sucks, but if everyone could get 1 exalt an hour you would see prices sky rocket into insanity. Much like Diablo 3's gold. Pretty much any item with more than 600 dps in that game is now over 90 million gold. Its unreachable for most people because of the fact that everyone farms gold or buys it in bulk for about 5USD per 50 million.

I played d3 at launch for 70 hours, and had a 800 dps wep when after that initial period.
I recently returned to the game and played for 2 hours and bought a 1400 dps wep for 250k, which took me about an hour and a half to make running through hell on a 56 (hc) barb.
the games shit but dont make things up!
