It doesn't matter if they get them or have to grind for them, if they're still the only one to be able to get and use them and they're overpowered it's still pay to win. Anyone can get them, they are just the same as any other drop that anyone can use. Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent. I used to love GGG. No offence but you've totally missed the point. As Diamond Supporters, we were given the opportunity to 'fill a gap' in the existing unique list. We picked a base item that had no unique and went from there. These uniques will then join all the other existing uniques in the game. You will likely not even know a user-designed unique over any other... If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between. I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Hehe thanks, if I cant support GGG financially at least I can let them know I am in other ways, even if it isnt as beneficial or helpful as $$$$ are to their bottom line. :-) Edit Can you design a Gem?
