Think about it. Fewer and fewer people pick up and identify rare items. More and more craft a base, then craft on that base.

Fewer identified items being vendored -> fewer alters in circulation.

But is the crafting any better/easier this league compared with previous leagues? It's usually like 15-20 alts per chaos.

As one of the few players that likes ID'ing and vendoring stuff I'm definitely happy with this change...

First, look at the current atlas meta related to the legion mechanic. Far too many shinies to bother picking up and identifying rares. (la: glacier)

Next, all the new stuff from Betrayal was too new during betrayal to really gain market reach. And Synthesis was an outlier. It can take a couple leagues for the new market to really develop out of some new content. (that's partly why some people get so rich, by just figuring out a single market imbalance and exploiting it)

My .02c. You're not really benefitting from this trend as much as they are if you respond by picking up and id'ing more rares.

Can't believe people type 2k19 in 2019, i thought that had died by now.

On a more serious note it would have to give a lot of alterations to be worth looting

I farmed and turned one in for a CWC build this league.

There are actually a lot of great not too much rare div cards

I have for ages underestimated the value of Flora's gift 'meh what am I going to do with a 5 link staff' till I turned in a few and realised they are good for the 7 jewels recipe when they have 6 sockets.Don't know if they ever come with just 5 sockets but still worth turning in for at least some 6 socket ones.

I have never got one that was 5s. Always 6s 5l
