Exactly. And it keeps getting worse with everybody making cards for whatever is meta at the moment and become obsolete the next league.

For example Unique Diviners drops additional cards for shaper/elder items

Instead of getting starforge, or ilvl 100 ring I kept getting that useless Shaper Scepter of Celebration card

Their use is to let people make a mark on the game, without it being too big a mark. They're great for that. What the card actually does functionally isn't all that important.

Think about it. Fewer and fewer people pick up and identify rare items. More and more craft a base, then craft on that base.

Fewer identified items being vendored -> fewer alters in circulation.

I've used this card for every sire of shards build I've used! There is one on my retarded legion clearing character right now. I actually think the cards for build enabling uniques are fine, also yours actually drops enough to be farmable.

You can always cash in your Lantador's Lost Loves for rares to vendor for alt shards.
